This year we get the chance to build and develop a roster." - Jason Rasco, Head Coach

Overall Summary

Wilsonville enters the season after a tremendous 2025 run, finishing 29-1 and falling just short of the 5A title game. The Wildcats bring back a few key players and multiple transfers that should contribute at the varsity level. Senior RHP and Lewis & Clark commit Colby Kosderka returns as the innings leader from last spring, throwing 56 innings with a 1.87 ERA. He'll be leaned upon heavily, with contributions from senior Grady Weise and junior Dan Widman also expected on the mound. The offense has big shoes to fill, notably with the gradutation of star catcher Mark Wiepert. Sophomore OF Beau Johnson was great in his freshman varsity season and figures to be a top of the order lefty bat with a dynamic contact/speed combination. Junior INF Cole Weber also returns after hitting .346 with 27 hits last season. Junior transfer Gabriel Cruz provides some positional flexibility and another solid lefty bat to the order. Junior Benjamin Wiepert has continued to trend upward and could provide some power from a corner OF spot. Prep Baseball staff is also bullish on the upside of junior Carson Zellick, who impressed in a showcase look last summer and has pop from the left side. Head coach Jason Rasco has scheduled some great matchups and is circling Willamette, Grant, South Salem and Canby as big games of note. Expect Wilsonville to once again be one of the best 5A sides in Oregon heading into 2026.
