Palo Verde 3, Centennial 2
Palo Verde edged out Centennial 3-2 in a tightly contested defensive battle on Wednesday. Despite being out-hit by the Bulldogs, the Panthers capitalized on timely baserunning and a strong starting performance to secure the road victory.
The story of the game was sophomore Connor McDonald, who turned in a masterful performance on the mound. McDonald, currently ranked as the #3 pitcher in Nevada's 2028 class, tossed 5.2 innings, allowing zero earned runs and striking out five to earn the win. Payton Conley-Cimini provided elite relief, striking out three of the six batters he faced to slam the door. Offensively, Matthew Simmler drove in a crucial run with a double, while Keimani Johnson added an RBI single. Centennial was led by Terrell "TJ" Otis, who reached base in all three plate appearances.

Coronado 12, Fallbrook 11
Coronado narrowly escaped a late-inning comeback attempt by Fallbrook to secure a 12-11 victory on Wednesday. The Cougars built a commanding early lead, scoring 10 runs in the first three innings, but had to withstand a resilient Fallbrook offense that plated seven runs over the final two frames.
The offensive catalyst for Coronado was senior Hudson Jones, who finished 3-for-4 with a home run and a game-high five RBIs. Sophomore Dawson Schmitt was a force in the middle of the order, reaching base in all four plate appearances with a double, three walks, and three runs scored. Ryder Metz and Crosby McGreal also turned in multi-hit performances to help the Cougars rack up 12 total hits. On the mound, Hudson Inouye earned the win, striking out five over four innings of work.

Boulder City 8, The Meadows School 2
Boulder City used a commanding five-run first inning to set the tone in an 8-2 road victory over The Meadows School on Wednesday. The Eagles capitalized on early scoring opportunities and received a strong collaborative effort on the mound to secure the win.
The offense was powered by senior Karter Law and junior Will Teeples, who each collected three hits. Law finished 3-for-4 with a double and two stolen bases, while Teeples went 3-for-4 with a double and two RBIs. Gauge Rhodes also played a key role, reaching base three times and driving in two runs. On the mound, junior Gavin Robinson earned the win, scattering five hits over five innings and striking out four. Cael Starley and Jaxton Sanchez combined for two innings of hitless relief to finish the game. The Meadows School was led by freshman Rocco Ricafort and senior Carson Rinetti, who both drove in a run in the effort.

Bishop Gorman captured the All Faiths Classic title in emphatic fashion, dismantling Paul VI (VA) 16-0 on Thursday. Facing elite competition from around the country, the Gaels left no doubt in the finale, exploding for 16 runs on 14 hits in just three innings to secure the tournament championship.
The offense was spearheaded by DaMari Hall, who finished 3-for-3 with a double and five RBIs, including a three-run double during a massive nine-run third inning. Justin Rodrigues and Connor Long were equally dominant; Rodrigues collected three hits and two RBIs, while Long reached base in every plate appearance, recording a double and a triple. On the mound, Jack Stoner earned the win, tossing three scoreless innings and striking out four to shut down the Panthers' lineup.

Faith Lutheran delivered a clinical performance on Thursday, shutting out Jesuit (CA) 10-0 in a five-inning run-rule victory. The Crusaders broke the game open with a massive eight-run second inning, backed by 10 hits and a dominant outing from the mound.
Senior Kingston Kela led the charge, finishing a perfect 3-for-4 with two RBIs. On the mound, senior Dylan Othick was untouchable, tossing a complete-game two-hitter with five strikeouts and zero runs allowed. The Crusaders' offense was a collective effort; Ethan Gordon and Eli Leone each drove in two runs, while Macen Collura added two hits including a double.
