PB Mississippi Announces 2026 Summer Event Schedule

MISSISSIPPI - The path to summer 2026 is now in place.

Prep Baseball Mississippi is proud to unveil its complete 2026 summer event schedule, headlined by the return of the state’s premier invite-only showcase and a full slate of evaluation opportunities for players across multiple graduating classes.

From the seventh annual Magnolia State Games to the statewide Summer ID Tour and Rising Stars ID events, this summer once again provides a key window for players to showcase their abilities, boost their recruiting stock, and compete alongside some of the top talent in Mississippi.

Below is a full breakdown of each event type and what participants can expect.

 

🏅 Magnolia State Games (June 9-10 | Freedom Ridge Park - Ridgeland, MS)

Entering year seven, the Magnolia State Games has firmly established itself as the premier event in Mississippi. The two-day, invite-only event will take place Tuesday, June 9 and Wednesday, June 10 at the Freedom Ridge Park's multi-turf field complex in Ridgeland, MS.

This event brings together the top prospects in Mississippi spanning the 2027-2030 graduating classes. Rosters are constructed by the Prep Baseball Mississippi staff and composed of players from each class, creating a competitive environment that allows our staff to evaluate who the state’s pound-for-pound top prospects are in a true two-way setting.

Magnolia State Games Format:

Day 1 (Tuesday, June 9th)
+ Morning pro-style workout for all position players
+ Teams assigned by Prep Baseball staff
+ Gameplay begins following workouts

Day 2 (Wednesday, June 10th)
+ Additional gameplay
+ All participants guaranteed two games across the event
+ Lineups, pitching rotations, and team assignments are managed entirely by Prep Baseball Alabama staff to ensure balanced competition and comprehensive evaluation opportunities.

The Magnolia State Games is also one of the primary evaluation platforms for national-level events, including the prestigious Future Games and Southeast Super Sophomore Games.

📊 Summer ID Series (Open Registration | 2027-2030)

The Summer ID Series is open to prospects in the Classes of 2027-2030 and is designed to provide accessible, local evaluation opportunities during the busiest stretch of the baseball calendar.

For most in the baseball world, summer is as hectic as it gets. Scouts, coaches, and players are traveling constantly, navigating a crowded landscape in pursuit of exposure and opportunity.

Our Summer ID Tour simplifies that process.

By hosting open, regional showcase events across the state, we provide players the opportunity to:

  • Update and enhance their Prep Baseball profile
  • Perform in front of Prep Baseball scouts
  • Collect verified metrics and measurable data
  • Stay visible during peak recruiting season
  • All participants will receive measurable data and written scouting evaluations. Highlights and results are promoted on PrepBaseballReport.com, a platform subscribed to by nearly 1,000 colleges and professional scouts nationwide.

Like all summer events, Summer ID performances are heavily considered for invitations to the Magnolia State Games, Future Games, and Southeast Super Sophomore Games and our fall Top Prospect Games: Underclass.

2026 Summer ID Schedule:

🌟 Rising Stars ID (Open Registration | 2030-2031)

The Rising Stars ID serves a dual purpose. For many participants, this event represents their first showcase experience, an important initial step in understanding the recruiting process and long-term development path.

Educational Component
A portion of the event is instructional, covering:

  • What scouts look for
  • How to carry yourself at events
  • Understanding the recruiting timeline
  • Navigating the showcase landscape
  • Identification Component
  • As the preeminent scouting service across 40+ states, Prep Baseball prioritizes early identification of emerging talent. The Rising Stars ID allows our staff to evaluate young prospects at an earlier stage, establishing a long-term tracking process as players progress through high school.

This event also serves as an evaluation opportunity for:

  • Junior Future Games – An invitation-only national event held in conjunction with the Future Games at LakePoint in Emerson, GA.

The Junior Future Games features top identified prospects from across the country in a four-day tournament format at LakePoint’s eight all-turf fields. Participants compete against elite talent while representing their respective state in guaranteed pool play and bracket competition.
