Bishop Gorman 8, Palo Verde 6
Bishop Gorman utilized a massive seven-run fourth inning to overcome an early deficit and edge out Palo Verde 8-6 on Thursday. The Panthers jumped out to a 4-0 lead through the first two frames, but the Gaels' bats came alive in the middle of the contest to flip the script. Despite a late push from Palo Verde, the Bishop Gorman bullpen held firm to preserve the narrow non-league victory.
The Gaels' offensive explosion was sparked by Connor Long, who delivered a three-RBI triple, and Alec Kajioka, who reached base three times and swiped three bases. Palo Verde out-hit the Gaels 10 to 6, led by three hits from Kyle Johnson and a multi-hit performance from Stone Amsden, but three defensive errors ultimately cost the Panthers. Avi Garg provided stabilizing relief for Gorman, throwing three solid innings to stifle the Panthers' momentum.

The Grizzlies trailed 5-4 heading into the final frame before Russell Slamowitz delivered a clutch two-RBI single to flip the score. Reed had established an early lead behind home runs from Braxton Liguori and Landon Baker, but Galena's disciplined approach—drawing eight walks—eventually wore down the Raiders' staff.
Nathan Cordell earned the win for Galena, striking out seven over six innings of work, while Aiden Talonen closed the door in the seventh to earn the save. Despite the loss, Reed's Ryan Vanek was dominant in his starting effort, allowing just one hit and striking out eight over four scoreless innings. Nevarez III earned the win on the mound, navigating through 5.1 innings and surrendering only two earned runs despite Shadow Ridge racking up six doubles.
The Diamondback attack was spearheaded by freshman Sebastian Mansell, who finished 2-for-3 with a home run and four RBIs while adding two stolen bases. Despite the Falcons collecting nine hits, Durango's disciplined approach at the plate resulted in 11 walks, which proved to be the undoing of the Foothill pitching staff.
The Trailblazers' comeback was fueled by multi-hit games from Zaylen Alboro and Aiden Farrell, who combined for six RBIs and two triples. Foothill's Quinthus Mason provided the power for the Falcons, finishing 2-for-3 with a home run and four RBIs.
