2026 North Dakota High School Team Preview: Minot

The 2026 high school baseball season is quickly approaching and as usual, excitement is building throughout North Dakota. Players and coaches have been working in preparation for the upcoming season and, as is the case each year, there are some very talented players and teams across North Dakota.

Teams across the state have goals and aspirations to finish their seasons in Minot or Jamestown at the NDHSAA Class A and B State championship games, but there is plenty of work to be done before that becomes reality. We hope to shine a spotlight on all teams across the state as we preview individual teams across North Dakota.

TEAM OUTLOOK

“We lost a large amount of seniors last year and are only returning one this season. We do have four juniors and one sophomore returning that had varsity experience that we think we are able to build around. We do have a strong junior class and sophomore class to fill in our positions lost due to graduation. I feel the early part of the season will be a good time to find out who will step up and take these positions. Our pitching should be pretty solid with good depth.” – Pete Stenberg, head coach
