2026 KSHSAA Player of the Week: Week 3

Eliott Wilk
Central Region Operations Director

Each week during the high school season, we will be announcing the Prep Baseball KS Player of the Week. We will rely on submissions from high school coaches and others by way of email ([email protected]) or DM on X (twitter). Nominations should include player name, grad year, position, and stat line. The Kansas High School Player of the Week will be released every Tuesday afternoon. We will cover all players nominated for player of the week in our Diamond Notes article that comes out on Wednesdays.

Thank you to each high school coach who submitted a nomination for this week's awards.

Let's take a look at the Player of the Week for Week 3 (April 6th-April 12th):

Cole Haubold OF / Topeka, KS / 2027

The Topeka outfielder was a force to be reckoned with at the plate and on the basepaths, leading the Trojans to a perfect 3-0 week. Across 16 at-bats, Haubold raked in 12 hits, including two doubles and a home run, to finish with a blistering .750 average on the week. He also accounted for 10 RBIs, four walks, and wreaked havoc on the basepaths with seven stolen bases.
