Miguel Leon Named Prep Baseball Maryland Player of the Week

Miguel Leon put on a show at the dish, as the University of Maryland commit hit .600 across five games last week, including three homers, a double, eight RBIs, ten runs scored, and 4 stolen bases. It was a tight race, as teammate Joey Coudon also had a huge week for the Patriots with three homers of his own and was also in consideration. Oakdale's Cooper DeWaal was the biggest public school contender, hitting 3 homers of his own as part of a .572 week over four games. Ultimately, Coudon held the RBI numbers, DeWaal put on the loudest swings, but Leon held the highest average. This was our closest race so far this season.
