HITTER OF THE WEEK
Harmon Skeen SS / RHP / Desert Hills, UT / 2026Harmon Skeen continues to prove why he is the premier dual-threat talent in the 4A classification. The Air Force commit was a force of nature this week, leading the Thunder to their sixth straight victory. Skeen punctuated his week with a massive performance against Madison, going 3-for-4 with two home runs and three RBIs. His elite barrel control and physical presence at the plate have been the catalyst for a Desert Hills offense that is firing on all cylinders as they enter the heart of Region 9 play. Whether he’s clearing the fences or providing stability on the left side of the infield, Skeen is playing like a true Player of the Year candidate. Highlights: 6/12 | 8 RBI | 10 R | 5 HR

Talon Willardson LHP / OF / American Fork, UT / 2027Rankings StateRank: 16 / POS: 5
Talon Willardson provided a masterful performance on the bump this week, showing exactly why he’s considered a rising ace in the 6A ranks. The southpaw was absolutely dominant in his start against a potent lineup, throwing 6.0 scoreless innings while racking up 10 strikeouts. Willardson surrendered just three hits and lived in the zone with a polished mix that kept hitters guessing all afternoon. Beyond his work on the mound, he also contributed a three-hit game during a midweek thriller, proving his value as a high-impact Junior for the No. 2 ranked Cavemen. Highlights: 6.0 IP / 10 K / 0 ER / 3 H / 0 R (W)
