2026 MSHSAA Team Preview: Rock Bridge Bruins
March 12, 2026
The Missouri high school baseball season kicks off on Mar. 19, opening day for regular season action under MSHSAA regulations. Leading up to opening day, we’ll be publishing our team previews ahead of the 2026 spring season, touching on programs spanning all state classifications, counting down to the official Prep Baseball Missouri Preseason Power 25 Rankings.
Perennially, we’ve submitted a preseason questionnaire to high school head coaches across the entire state. Their responses have been flooding in and we’re using the detailed insight they’ve provided in our team-by-team preseason analysis.
Our 2026 preseason coverage continues today.

Coach’s Insight: “This team offensively will be built around it's speed. Six projected starters run under a 7.0 sixty-yard dash. These guys have the ability to put pressure on defenses, create chaos and score runs. Our top end arms have varsity mound experience and will be looking to use that to give the team length week to week. We return 10% of the varsity at bats and innings on the mound. We don't have a lot of depth with experience on hitting and pitching. At a large school, we have several guys that have been waiting their turn behind an amazing 2025 graduated class to prove themselves.” – Jeff Bazat, head coach
