On Sunday February 22, 2026 our staff saw around 40 players from across VA/DC at the Beach Preseason All-State event. We hosted our first event at Greenwave Elite in Portsmouth. Today we begin to take a look at a few players that stood out in a few areas. Our superlatives list cover two different sets of players, pitchers and positional players. In total we look at eight categories for players, Fastball, Secondary Mix, Pitcher Projection, Raw Power, Run Tool, Athleticism, Hit Tool, and Defense. We have selected the players from each event that stood out in those respective categories. This story focuses specifically on positional players from the Beach Preseason All-State event.
