FROM TUESDAY (2.17.26)

+ EAST UNION VS. BOONEVILLE

Booneville walked it off Tuesday with an 8-7 win over East Union, ending the game on Leslie’s solo home run in the seventh inning. The Blue Devils built an early five-run advantage in the second, highlighted by Lott’s two-run double, before East Union rallied late to tie the game. Booneville responded immediately, with Leslie delivering the game-winner. Lott and Leslie each finished with two hits and two RBIs, while the Blue Devils added pressure on the bases with seven stolen bases. Booneville now turns its attention to Saltillo on Thursday.

+ CALEDONIA VS. SALTILLO

Saltillo edged Caledonia 1-0 on Tuesday in a pitching duel, as Rodgers and McLarty combined for a shutout. The Tigers scored the game’s lone run in the fourth inning on Darsey’s RBI single. Rodgers earned the win after five scoreless innings, while McLarty struck out the final batter to secure the save. Both teams played clean defense, and Saltillo now prepares to travel to Russellville (AL) on Saturday.

+ SEMINARY VS. OAK GROVE

Seminary pulled away in the middle innings to earn a 9-4 win over Oak Grove on Tuesday. After falling behind early, the Bulldogs tied the game in the fourth before breaking it open with a five-run fifth inning, highlighted by Chancelor’s two-run single. Moulds led Seminary with three RBIs, while Harvey added a multi-hit performance as the Bulldogs showed patience at the plate with seven walks. Seminary now heads to Taylorsville for its next matchup on Friday.

+ TAYLORSVILLE VS. WAYNE COUNTY

Wayne County earned a 4-2 win over Taylorsville on Tuesday behind a strong pitching performance from Holifield, who struck out 12 over six innings. The War Eagles got on the board early with a solo home run from Mills and added insurance runs along the way. Taylorsville stayed within striking distance, but Wayne County’s pitching held firm down the stretch, with Ainsworth picking up the save. Taylorsville now prepares to face Seminary on Friday.

+ SOUTH PANOLA VS. TUPELO

South Panola rallied late to edge Tupelo 4-3 on Tuesday, scoring the go-ahead run in the seventh inning on Robinson’s RBI groundout. Tupelo built an early 3-0 lead before the Tigers chipped away and tied the game, then pulled ahead late. Toliver was key in relief for South Panola, tossing four scoreless innings to shut the door. Tupelo was led offensively by Zimmerman and showed aggressiveness on the bases, but South Panola did enough down the stretch to secure the win and now turns to a matchup with Clarksdale on Thursday.

+ VICKSBURG VS. CANTON

Vicksburg pulled off a dramatic 9-8 walk-off win over Canton on Tuesday, capping a remarkable comeback after falling behind 7-0 in the first inning. The Gators chipped away and tied the game in the fifth, then won it in the seventh on Fisher’s walk-off RBI single. Allen was key in relief, working 6.1 strong innings with nine strikeouts to earn the win. Vicksburg finished with 11 hits and applied constant pressure on the bases with 12 stolen bases, while Fisher, Harris, and Thomas led the offensive charge.

+ POTTS CAMP VS. TREMONT

Potts Camp earned a 7-4 win over Tremont on Tuesday behind a dominant performance from Dobbs, who struck out 14 batters in 4.2 innings of work. The Cardinals regained the lead in the third inning with a four-run frame and never looked back. Gilmer was strong in relief, tossing 2.1 scoreless innings to help close it out. Hopkins led the offense with two hits, while Potts Camp showed patience at the plate and aggressiveness on the bases, drawing nine walks and stealing 10 bases.

+ HANCOCK VS. POPLARVILLE

Poplarville rallied from a four-run deficit to earn a 5-4 win over Hancock on Tuesday, taking the lead for good in the sixth inning on a run-scoring error. Hancock jumped out early behind a two-run homer from Cuevas, but Poplarville answered with a tying rally in the fifth before pulling ahead late. Smith drove in two runs at the plate and earned the win in relief with 2.1 scoreless innings. Poplarville now heads back to Hancock for a rematch on Thursday.

+ KOSCIUSKO VS. STARKVILLE

Kosciusko edged Starkville 4-3 on Tuesday, pulling ahead in the middle innings and holding on down the stretch. Starkville scored twice in the first to take an early lead, but Kosciusko answered to tie the game in the third before moving in front with a sacrifice bunt in the fourth. Starkville’s bullpen kept it close, but the Yellowjackets couldn’t complete the comeback. Knox drove in two runs for Starkville, while Kosciusko received run production throughout the lineup and now looks ahead after the one-run win.

+ FRENCH CAMP ACADEMY VS. ETHEL

Ethel earned a 3-1 win over French Camp Academy on Tuesday in a pitching-driven matchup. Rush set the tone on the mound, tossing five scoreless innings with nine strikeouts to earn the win. The Tigers scored twice in the first inning and added an insurance run in the third, while applying pressure on the bases with nine stolen bases. Ethel now heads to French Camp Academy for a rematch on Friday.
