Overall Summary

Few teams boast more talented arms than Lincoln heading into this spring, making the Lynx a likely candidate to improve upon their district playoff finish last season. Junior RHP/OF Zach Nelson leads the way, showcasing a bulldog-like approach in all facets of his game during an in-game look last spring. Nelson got the ball on the mound in the biggest games for the most part, providing an offensive presence in the middle of the order as well. Several other arms are candidates to get starts heading into 2026. Top-10 ranked sophomore RHP Sennet Timmermans has impressed with every look, throwing virtually nothing but strikes with a fastball into the upper 80's and a wipeout slider. 6'2 sophomore Ryan Perkins was also great in an in-game look last spring, running his fastball  into the mid-80s from the left side. Junior Jacob Nelson is another steady mid-80's arm with plenty of varsity experience. While the pitching should keep them in most games, the key to the Lynx's success will be the bats. Junior Anders Diller will return to man the shortstop position with top of the order experience. Senior and Menlo College commit Atticus Stanfield can provide some thump in the middle of the order as well. Look for players such as junior catcher Tucker Koerick to grow into a larger role with the bat. Lincoln has several great matchups lined up for this spring, including games with Snohomish, Eastside Catholic and Lakeside. Look for the Lynx to dominate with their arms and once again be a strong 4A side.
