Cactus Shadows turned in a complete performance on both sides of the ball, shutting out Saguaro 5-0 behind a strong two arm effort. The Falcons struck early with a pair in the second, added on in the third, and never looked back, piling up 11 hits while controlling the game throughout. Scully set the tone on the mound before Scheuler closed it out, as Cactus Shadows secured a clean ranked win.

Mountain Ridge pulled away late to secure a 5-3 win over Liberty in a tightly contested game that went into extra innings. After trading leads in the middle innings, Mountain Ridge broke through in the eighth behind Sanchez’s go ahead two run double. The Mountain Lions showed resilience throughout, answering Liberty’s pushes and executing late to finish off the win.

Red Mountain (#5) (25) vs. Mesa (1)
Red Mountain dominated from start to finish in a 25-1 win over Mesa, breaking the game open early and never easing off. The Mountain Lions scored in each of the first four innings, including a 12 run fourth that put the game out of reach. Red Mountain combined explosive offense with clean defense and efficient pitching to cruise to the win.
