NOTABLE RECAPS FROM SATURDAY
#22 Ridgeline (5) vs. #6 Snow Canyon (7)
The Snow Canyon Warriors protected their home turf with a display of timely power, turning back the Ridgeline Riverhawks in a competitive 7–5 victory. The Warriors' offense hummed behind Cash Sissener, who was a force at the plate, launching a home run and a double while reaching base in all four appearances. Trey Vaughn added to the power surge with a home run of his own and two RBIs, providing the necessary cushion for the pitching staff. On the mound, Bridger Larsen was credited with the win after two scoreless frames of relief, while Sissener swapped his outfielder's glove for a pitcher's mitt to close out the seventh and secure the result. Ridgeline showed plenty of fight, particularly from Easton Hammond, who collected two hits and two RBIs, and Brady Cook, who tallied two hits at the top of the order. While the Riverhawks out-hit the Warriors 7 to 9, Snow Canyon’s ability to clear the fences and maximize their scoring opportunities proved to be the deciding factor in this high-energy clash.

Skyline (5) vs. Orem (4)
In a battle of efficiency versus volume, the Skyline Eagles demonstrated incredible discipline at the plate to walk away with a 5–4 victory over the Orem Varsity Tigers. Despite being out-hit 7 to 4, the Eagles exploited Orem’s pitching struggles, drawing a staggering 10 walks throughout the contest. Xaidan Butcher delivered the most significant blow for Skyline, driving in three runs on a single and showing great patience with two walks. Cole Muse set a strong tone early, doubling at the plate and providing four solid innings on the mound to keep the Tigers within reach. Orem’s attack was led by a perfect day from Benji Engemann, who notched two doubles and an RBI, while Chase Ford chipped in with two hits and two RBIs. While the Tigers' Lucas Engemann was dominant in his three-inning start, striking out four without allowing a run, Skyline’s relentless ability to put runners on base eventually tilted the scoreboard in their favor.

Brighton (8) vs. #15 Skyridge (10)
The Skyridge Falcons orchestrated a stunning late-inning comeback to defeat Brighton 10–8 in a contest that saw both offenses trade heavy blows. Trailing late, Skyridge erupted for seven runs in the bottom of the sixth inning to flip the script, powered by a massive three-RBI double from Zayden Bye and key extra-base hits from Max Grover and Brady Lowe. Brighton’s lineup was relentless early on, led by Gunn, who doubled twice and drove in two, and Easton Gustafson, who set the table with two hits and two runs. On the mound, Luke Robley provided the final layer of stability for the Falcons, throwing a hitless seventh inning to earn the win while also contributing two hits at the plate. Despite a solid five-inning start from Brighton's Wilder Strong, the Falcons' explosive late-game surge and defensive poise under pressure allowed them to secure the hard-fought victory.

#3 Crimson Cliffs (10) vs. Park City (9)
The Crimson Cliffs Mustangs outlasted Park City in a high-octane slugfest defined by raw power and constant momentum shifts, ultimately securing a gritty 10–9 victory. Park City’s lineup brought the thunder early and often, launching three home runs—one each from Alex Brannigan, Jackson Noonan, and Joey Breza—to keep the Mustangs on their heels. However, Crimson Cliffs found an answer through a relentless, balanced attack and aggressive baserunning, tallying five stolen bases to manufacture runs in crucial spots. Ryker Taylor was a force for the Mustangs, finishing a perfect 2-for-2 with two RBIs, while Sam Chappell delivered a clutch triple to drive the offense forward. Cutter Christensen showcased his versatility by not only doubling at the plate but also stepping onto the mound in relief to navigate a tense final frame and shut the door. Both squads displayed incredible offensive focus, but the Mustangs' ability to string together extra-base hits in high-pressure moments proved to be the deciding factor in this absolute thriller.

Salem Hills (8) vs. #11 Dixie (3)
The Salem Hills Skyhawks displayed an impressive mix of offensive depth and efficient pitching to secure a convincing 8–3 victory over the Dixie Varsity Flyers. The Skyhawks’ lineup was relentless, tallying 12 hits on the day, highlighted by a standout performance from Colton McGhie, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with a double and an RBI. Bracken Lindley and Austin Hicks also provided significant sparks, combining for three hits and three RBIs to keep the pressure on the Flyers' defense. On the mound, Trig Richards set a strong tone, tossing five effective innings and striking out five to earn the win while only surrendering two unearned runs. Dixie hung tough behind the hot bat of Weston Gilmore, who collected three hits including a double, but they struggled to string together enough hits to overcome the early deficit. Despite the Flyers’ late-game efforts, Salem Hills’ defensive poise and consistent offensive production allowed them to maintain control and wrap up a high-energy team win.
