2026 OSSAA Team Preview: Owasso Rams

Prep Baseball Oklahoma Staff

The Oklahoma high school baseball season kicks off on Feb. 23 for classes A and B and Mar. 1 for classes 2A-6A, opening day for regular season action under OSSAA regulations. Leading up to opening day, we’ll be publishing our team previews ahead of the 2025 spring season, touching on programs spanning all state classifications, counting down to the official Prep Baseball Oklahoma Preseason Power 25 Rankings.

Perennially, we’ve submitted a preseason questionnaire to high school head coaches across the entire state. Their responses have been flooding in and we’re using the detailed insight they’ve provided in our team-by-team preseason analysis.

Our 2026 preseason coverage continues today.

Key Players Lost:

Coach’s Insight: “We have a large portion of our state runner up lineup returning as well as several arms that got valuable post season experience. We will be looking to replace two all-state bats in the middle of our lineup from last year (Carter Martinez & Cooper Auschwitz).” – Larry Turner, head coach

Outlook: Owasso continues to reload for yet another state title run under Head Coach Larry Tuner. A year ago, the Rams ultimately fell in the state championship game to Edmond Santa Fe and saw their year conclude at 39-3. This year, the Rams will be one of the most balanced teams in the state with a dynamic offense, steady defensive around the yard, and one of the top aces in the state in 2-way Kooper Ranallo. Expect them to score runs in bunches with table setter Easton Hailey at the top setting the tone for one of the more potent middle-of-the-lineups in the state. They will be on the shortlist of favorites to win the 6A title in 2026.
