Zack Wester Named Prep Baseball NC Pitcher of the Week

Zack Wester is as close to perfect as you can get in his first start of the 2026 season, leading his squad to a 7-0 win as part of a 2-game sweep over Enka.

Wester goes the distance and punches out 21 - you read that right - every out recorded over 7 innings was via the strikeout, with 2 BB and 2 H as the only blemishes to his line. Pisgah has a light week ahead with just one game on Friday at Hayesville, so Wester's next start may have to wait another week, but we will be following closely to see if he can match or beat his incredibly impressive performance.
