Will Adams OF / LHP / Hoover, AL / 2026LSU signee Will Adams put together one of the most complete offensive weeks in the state to open the 2026 season, playing a pivotal role in No. 1 Hoover's 7-1 start. The senior and No. 3 player in Alabama wasted no time setting the tone, going 12-for-21 (.571) with three doubles, two home runs, and 12 RBIs while reaching base at an elite clip thanks to nine walks. His ability to impact the baseball with authority showed up in extra-base damage, but just as impressive was his command of the strike zone and disciplined approach in big spots. Add in four stolen bases, and Adams influenced the game in every phase, consistently delivering when Hoover needed it most throughout Opening Week. |

Gibbs White RHP / Tuscaloosa County, AL / 2027Rankings StateRank: 16 / POS: 6
One of the top uncommitted pitchers in Alabama’s 2027 class, Gibbs White began his junior season with a highly impressive two-start stretch, helping defending Class 7A state champion Tuscaloosa County High School open the year 8-0. Over 11 combined innings, White surrendered just two hits and two walks while striking out 13, consistently attacking the strike zone and maintaining command throughout his outings. His most notable performance came at the Kickoff Classic against Pell City High School, where he delivered a seven-inning perfect game in his first appearance of the season. Needing only 72 pitches, 52 for strikes, to retire all 21 hitters he faced, White worked in the low-80s and was dominant from the start to the end. The outing not only highlighted his ability to perform at a high level against quality competition, but also reinforced his standing as one of the premier arms in the state’s 2027 class.
