The Palmetto Spring Classic brought together top teams and elite talent from across the upstate. Prep Baseball was on site throughout the weekend to cover every inning.
Below are notes and videos highlighting standout performances from each team at the Championship Game!

Liam Purcell, OF/RHP, Daniel, 2026
Eastern Kentucky Commit, at 6-4 195-pounds Liam started the night off on the right foot for the Lions, a hard hit ball in to the RCF Gap to bring home the first run of the Championship night. He would go on to have a multi hit - multi RBI night in the Lions big win. Purcell uses a narrow stance hunched over the plate with a low hand set around the back shoulder. Uses a bat wiggle to create rhythm, as well as a leg kick to start his forward move while creating stretch away from the body with his hands. Able to create length out front with the bat path going gap to gap.
