2026 SEASON OUTLOOK:

Rock Canyon enters the season as one of the younger groups in 5A, and that youth movement isn’t going away anytime soon. A wave of high-upside sophomores could ultimately determine just how high the ceiling climbs for the Jaguars, giving the program a core that should continue to grow together well beyond this spring. While the roster skews young, there are still several experienced upperclassmen expected to play key roles and provide steady production. Under Coach Jacobs, the identity is clear; competitive at-bats, sound defense, and the ability to pressure opponents with speed on the basepaths. The biggest question mark for 2026 lies on the mound, where developing reliable/impact pitching depth will be critical. If the staff can emerge and provide consistent innings, Rock Canyon has the athleticism and emerging talent to surprise teams throughout the season.
