Everything high school baseball related will be on the GHSA tab on our website. It can be found HERE. This will include the Power 25, Classification Rankings, weekly scout blogs and more.

Today, we are going to introduce a new piece of content called the “Daily Round Up”. Here we will take a look at the games our scouts went to from the previous day and highlight key moments, standout players and our takeaways from the game.

Wednesday

Westminster @ Weber

Score: Westminster win, 13-8
Standouts:

Hudson Tittle, OF, 2027, Westminster

Ford Monin, C, 2027, Westminster

Geoffrey Anderson, OF/LHP, 2026, Westminster

Sammy Wilson, OF, 2027, The Weber School

Key moments: The Westminster offense jumped out to early lead behind multiple knocks from 2027 OF Hudson Tittle and 2027 C Ford Monin and didn’t look back from there with other catalyst being 2026 OF Geoffrey Anderson and 2026 OF Harrison Fiftal.

Avery’s Takeaway: The top of the order really stood out for Westminster between names like Hudson Tittle, Ford Monin, and Geoffrey Anderson as they can really carry this lineup on a lineup basis. Sammy Wilson looked the part out of the leadoff spot for the Rams and boasts present bat-to-ball skills with ability to use the whole field well while offering long-term upside in the outfield as well. The Wildcats got production from nearly everyone 1-9 en route to a high-powered offensive affair in a 13-8 win.

North Atlanta @ Lovett

Score: Lovett win, 14-9

Standouts:

Jack Rees, OF, 2026, Lovett

Reed Joslin, OF, 2027, Lovett

Bray Hill, 2B, 2026, North Atlanta

Dustin Rovak, C, 2026, North Atlanta

Samuel Kunz, OF, 2026, North Atlanta

Griffin Brogan, SS, 2026, Lovett

Cade McKenzie, OF, 2027, Lovett

Jackson Pechter, OF/DH, 2026, North Atlanta

Key Moments: Some scattered pitching early led to some early runs from both sides with senior OF Jackson Pechter coming through with the big RBI 2B to give North Atlanta the early lead. Lovett senior OF Jack Rees was the deciding factor in multiple moments including a bases-clearing 2B in the 2nd and 2-run HR to cap off an 8-run 5th inning for the Lions.

Ian’s Takeaway: Bat-to-ball skills from both sides really stood out in a high-scoring affair. The three-headed monster at the top for North Atlanta in Kunz, Rovak and Hill can carry this lineup and it showed on Wednesday, combining to go 6-for-8 with 6 R, 2 RBI, 4 BB. Jack Rees looks poised for a huge spring as the leader for the Lovett squad and providing huge impact out of the leadoff spot. Tooled up profile with real projection remaining in the 6-foot-5, 185-pound frame that screams growth at the next level. Hit the ball harder than anyone on the night by a wide margin and it showed on the loud pull-side HR he closed his loud evening with. Overall, 7 of 9 in the starting lineup notched an RBI for the Lions on the night and when you’re getting production like that, it’s going to be tough to lose.
