We continue our spring high school previews and projections with a look at 15 "Picks to Click" as we inch closer to the 2026 baseball season. Highlighted in these stories are players that we believe are in contention for "Player of the Year" or "Pitcher of the Year" and we will give a detailed analysis, including video on each. Without further ado, the next player we would like to highlight is Clarion commit Ethan Frank from Calvert Hall.

Ethan Frank OF / Calvert Hall College High School, MD / 2026

An under-the-radar talent in the MIAA, Clarion commit Ethan Frank is poised for a breakout year this spring and looks to be a viable piece to lead the charge offensively for Calvert Hall. The loss of two key performers in the outfield in Will Haacke (‘25 JMU) and Kaden Barmer (‘25 Goldey Beacom) sees a huge opportunity open up for Frank to take over some leadership.

A highly athletic profile with the ability to impact in multiple facets, Frank has added some eye-opening physicality this offseason that should bode well for some added power numbers this spring. It’s a high average, doubles power makeup at the dish that should add versatility and game-changing impact throughout the Calvert Hall lineup. This 2026 spring opens up the opportunity for Ethan Frank to have a considerably strong season and make a run as one of the top offensive talents in the state.
