Compiled from submissions by high school coaches statewide, this feature highlights standout individual efforts from the previous week and takes a closer look at the players who made the biggest impact on the diamond.

Colton Borden 1B / RHP / Arab, AL / 2026The uncommitted senior had a big all-around week, going 9-for-14 (.643) with 5 doubles, 4 RBI, and 4 runs scored, while adding 3 walks. Also earned the win on the mound, tossing 3 scoreless innings in a 2-1 victory over Huntsville. |

Gunner Johnson SS / OF / Brooks, AL / 2027Johnson put together another strong two-way week, going 5-for-9 (.556) with a double, 3 RBI, and 2 runs scored, while adding a stolen base and posting a .600 OBP. Also tossed a complete-game win vs. West Limestone, allowing 2 ER on 4 hits with 9 strikeouts and 2 walks over 7 innings. |

Jackson Crippen 2B / SS / Hazel Green, AL / 2027The uncommitted junior collected 8 hits in 17 at-bats (.471), including a triple, while driving in 5 runs. Added 3 stolen bases (3-for-3) and finished with a .526 OBP. |

Kamrin Jenkins SS / RHP / Bob Jones, AL / 2026The Missouri recruit put together a productive week, going 6-for-15 (.400) with a HR, 2 doubles, 2 RBI, and 6 runs scored. He also drew 4 walks, was hit three times, and swiped 4 bases. |
