Christ Church 10 BHP 9
Belton-Honea Path dropped a tight 10 to 9 game to Christ Church Episcopal despite a late push and strong offensive output. The Bears fell behind early but responded with a six run swing across the middle innings to get back into the game. Christian Jones led the way with three hits while Jakari Anderson delivered a key three RBI double in the comeback effort. Belton-Honea Path finished with 14 hits, but the early deficit proved too much to overcome.

Lowie is a good athlete with a solid frame that can provide solid production at the top of the BHP order. He is 6’1 with plenty of room to continue filling out and getting stronger. He has quick hands with a short swing that allows him to adjust to any pitch and controls the barrel to create hard contact. He also showed a willingness and ability to hit the ball the other way. He is already a good player for the Bears and has all the tools and potential to turn into a contributor at the next level.

Foral had a solid night at the plate and in the field in our look on Monday night. He moves around well in Centerfield showcasing an ability to track balls down in all directions and has an above average throwing arm. He is a key contributor towards the top of the Christ Church order. He showed pullside power from the right side and I would expect to see that continue to improve as he fills out the 6’0 frame. He can do a little bit of everything and I look forward to seeing him develop.
