Missouri JUCO baseball is in full swing and here at Prep Baseball Missouri we wanted to provide a check-in on the scores from across the Missouri JUCO landscape over the fifth week of gameplay.
Within these weekly pieces, you will be able to find all the JUCO scores from across the state, as well as other news and notes across the state's JUCO landscape.
STAT RATS
+ INF Jeann Pierre Gonzalez (North Central Missouri College, FR) leads Region 16 in batting average with a .577 mark.
+ C Jaxon Jones (Three Rivers College; FR) continues to hit north of .500, sporting a .517 batting average on the year. He is also third in the region in RBIs with 28.
+ C/INF AJ Lucas (Moberly Area CC, SO) is tied for first in the region with 10 home runs and is second in RBIs with 31. Lucas' 10 home runs are currently tied for second in NJCAA Division II.
+ C Andrew Sands (Jefferson College, FR) leads Region 16 in RBIs with 32 and is tied for first in home runs with 10. Fellow teammate Brady Vessells (Jefferson College) has racked up 25 RBIs on the year to go along with 9 home runs of his own, both top five in the region.
