Over the next few weeks, leading up to the beginning of the 2026 MD High School season, our staff will be releasing our Preseason Power 25. This list will be comprised of public and private schools across the state that we feel have a strong chance of being successful in 2026.

#11 Severna Park Falcons 

Look for a deeper run in 2026 for the Falcons, as a disappointing finish to their 2025 campaign should have this team hungry for a title run. A pitching staff loaded with front-end talent is one of the more exciting things to follow this spring, as we believe Severna Park may have one of the top rotations across the state. The big question, however, will be if the Falcons have enough depth offensively. A fairly young offensive lineup may go through some growing pains early on, but look for the rotation to carry the weight, especially early until this lineup catches fire. 

Key Players to Watch
