2026 Prep Baseball Nebraska All-State: Event Preview

Council Bluffs, Iowa - On Sunday, March 1st, Prep Baseball travels to Iowa Western’s Marshall Wellness Center to host the Prep Baseball Nebraska All-State event. This invite-only event will feature over 175 prospects from the class of 2027 through 2029s, with 130 ranked players with the number 1 prospect from each class. This collection of players will include plenty of fresh faces as well as returning faces.
EVENT HISTORY
Last year's All-State saw over 170 players come through the doors of Marshall Wellness Center with multiple notable performances.

Austin Baldwin SS / OF / Beatrice High School, NE / 2026Rankings StateRank: 8 / POS: 2
From our post-event Quick Hits: Showcased his athletic versatility, transitioning from SS to OF and excelling as one of the top performers. He ran a 6.67 60-yard dash and threw 90 mph from the outfield. Increased strength and maturity have enhanced his already strong hit tool, with a max exit velocity of 97.3 mph and an average of 90.9 mph. |

Donnie Rosenthal OF / RHP / Papillion La Vista South, NE / 2026Rankings StateRank: 14 / POS: 3
From our post-event Quick Hits: One of the top uncommitted outfielder in the 2026 class, Rosenthal continues to raise his stock. He improved across the board, running a 6.71 60-yard dash, throwing 92 mph from the outfield, and posting a 97.7 mph max exit velocity (91.6 avg). Rosenthal would play with Team Plains at the Senior Future Games in July and make his commitment to Iowa Central. |

Kai Vanis SS / 2B / Pius X High School, NE / 2026Rankings StateRank: 23 / POS: 6
From our post-event Quick Hits: A riser in the next rankings update, Vanis has made significant jumps since the 2024 Nebraska State Games. From his 5’11", 176 lb frame, he displayed sneaky pull-side pop with a 99.9 mph max exit velocity (87.6 avg) and recorded the farthest hit ball at 388 feet. His 1.63-second 10-yard split highlights his quickness, pairing well with his smooth, reliable glove on defense. Vanis was a member of the Super Senior Games in Kansas City and would later make his commitment to Omaha. |

Big-bodied left-hander who has seen his velocity tick up into the high 80s and low 90s this fall and winter. Norris is poised to open plenty of eyes with his performance at the 2026 PSAS. |

Easton Elam RHP / SS / Omaha Skutt Catholic High School, NE / 2027Rankings StateRank: 14 / POS: 8
Two-way talent who currently projects best on the mound. Shows the ability to manipulate and locate the baseball with real arm-side run on his fastball from a low three-quarter slot. Also plays infield and quarterback for the football team. |
