Dawson Brown OF / 2B / Lehi, UT / 2026Rankings StateRank: 21 / POS: 6
Dawson had an excellent showing this weekend as one of the top uncommitted players in the Class coming into the event. Mature, experienced player with years of varsity production under his belt already, including deep playoff runs year in and year out with him being right in the middle of it all. Offensively, he presents problems for opposing pitchers with his willingness to keep the approach simple and utilize both gaps. He keeps the barrel in the zone a long time and extends through contact very well, consistently backspinning LDs through the gaps with sneaky pop from his 5’7 163 lb frame. Above average athleticism, instant production and a fierce competitor with a winning pedigree, whoever gets this kid will be happy they did! Highlights: 60 time (6.85) Max EV (96.8) OF Velo (82)

Tucker Cannon OF / RHP / Olympus, UT / 2026Tucker put himself back in the recruiting spotlight with an impressive overall performance on Saturday, after missing his entire Junior year due to TJ surgery. Although still not quite at 100% where he was pre injury, the improved physical maturation and skillset are legit and vault him into the conversation as one of the top uncommitted outfielders in the class. The 6’3 187 lb frame with broad shoulders and long levers provide present power elements in his game, especially at the plate. The BP round was loud, consistently hammering baseballs into the gaps with backspin and HR power. His round was arguably a top 5 showing, which made it even more impressive considering the time off and how stacked this event was with talented players. Very intriguing day from the Senior out of Olympus, he should absolutely be a name coaches circle if you’re still looking for 2025 OF. Highlights: Max EV (100.3) Avg EV (96.2) Max Dist (403’) 60 time (6.82) OF Velo (87) |

Hazen Elton C / SS / Lehi, UT / 2026Rankings StateRank: 37 / POS: 5
Hazen has taken notable strides in the last 12 months, with added physicality and maturation across his game that was on display this weekend. Athletic frame with broad shoulders, rotational strength and quick hands/feet. The catch and throw tool continues to stand out with consistent throws under 2.0 and regularly living in the low-mid 1.9s. His rhythm and timing sync up well, putting most of his throws right on the bag and the quick exchanges make him tough to run on. Quiet, confident receiver with above average athleticism that gives him the ability to make elite level plays that you absolutely need from a high level catcher. Offensively the skills continue to set him apart at his position, and the added physicality shined through in the power numbers this time around, setting new personal bests in multiple categories. Low swing and miss type player, with a repeatable foundation and willingness to focus on contact rather than overswinging. The 6’ 172 lb Senior will handle one of the top staffs in the state this Spring and should be in plenty of big matchups, including a potential deep playoff run. One of the top uncommitted players in the class regardless of position and will be a Day 1 producer at the next level.

William Gulbrandsen RHP / OF / Provo, UT / 2026Rankings StateRank: 51 / POS: 12
William has been on a clear path the last 12 months, dedicating and investing his time into his body in an attempt to increase overall physicality and recruit status. After seeing him on Saturday, the time invested has paid off as he came in at 6’3 183 lbs, which is 15 lbs heavier than the last time we saw him at the Summer Top Prospect Games last July. The added physicality had a direct impact on all of his pitching metrics, most notably his velocity range and max on the FB which jumped from 82-85, to 87-88 this weekend. The arm is live working from a more over the top delivery with long levers coming at you, getting downhill with intent. He pounds the zone with 3 pitches and the offspeed CV/CH combo have improved with added depth and movement that will play off his FB well. Last year was one of success from the mound for William, and with the physical maturation settling in he looks ready to have an even bigger year. He is certainly one of the top uncommitted arms in the 2026 class and will continue to develop moving forward, high ceiling arm talent. FB: 87-88 T88.6 // FB IVB avg: 18.7 // CV: 72-75 // CH: 76-78 |

Hayden Hyatt SS / RHP / Maple Mountain, UT / 2026Hayden came highly recommended by his coaching staff, and we got a chance to see him play in person the week prior to our event this past weekend. He had an excellent showing on the mound that game, giving us a chance to invite him out to Crimson Cliffs the following weekend. The 6’1 203 lb frame stands out, with present physicality and strength that was on display throughout the workout. He registered as a two way player in this event, giving us a more in-depth look at the overall talent. The standout tool is the arm talent, which was loose and strong across the diamond as well as on the mound. In the bullpen he showed a mature feel for the zone with all of his pitches and a repeatable delivery. The right-hander was not at his best from a velocity standpoint (we had him at 85-86 in-game last week), but you could clearly see the pitch ability and mound presence. He will see significant innings from the mound and play a crucial role for another loaded Maple Mountain team in 2026. Hayden has vaulted himself into the group of best uncommitted players remaining in the Senior class conversation. Highlights: Max EV (100.6) Bat Speed (86.2) Max FB (84.7) CV (68-71) SPL (70-73) |

Samuel Smith OF / RHP / West Field, UT / 2026Rankings StateRank: 22 / POS: 7
The ‘23 Futures Games Alum has been one of the better overall athletes in the class since his Freshman year, and his physical growth over that time has settled in, making him an imposing player from the box and the mound. The 6’2 209 lb RHP/OF was at his best this weekend, most notably during the bullpen. The pitch mix consists of a FB/CV/SL/CH, and his ability to pound the zone and tunnel his offspeed off a firm FB was impressive. He attacks the zone getting downhill with intent. The strength continues to stand out in the box, with some of the loudest BP rounds once again this weekend. His physical profile and skills play well together, projecting as a power hitting corner OF with two-way potential. Sam remains one of the top uncommitted players in the class and looks to be in line for a monster season at his new high school, West Field.

Ripken Jensen SS / RHP / Ridgeline, UT / 2026Rankings StateRank: 79 / POS: 18
Ripken was a West Coast Games participant this past Fall, and showcased his skills well throughout the weekend. It’s apparent he has been in the weight room and the cage since last October, as his swing and power numbers have improved significantly. Rip displayed one of the sweeter left-handed swings on Saturday, spraying balls around the yard with relative ease with a consistently mature approach. His offensive game is not predicated on driving the ball out of the ball park, and his BP rounds showed his maturity and understanding of his skillset. Excellent sense of timing and barrel awareness with a flat path into the zone with a high contact rate. The arm strength has taken an uptick as well, from the mound setting new personal bests on the FB velocity while continuing to show his understanding of how to pitch. He attacks the zone coming from a high leg kick and almost sidearm delivery, creating heavy ASR on the FB/CH combo. You’re looking at an overall productive player with excellent “winning” habits and a great energy anytime he is on the baseball field. A true gamer with physical upside still remaining, his best baseball is still ahead of him.

Boston Kap OF / RHP / West Field High School, UT / 2026Rankings StateRank: 108 / POS: 25
Boston had an impressive workout on Saturday, setting new personal bests all over the field and displaying his above average athleticism throughout the day. A two-sport athlete (football) that we hadn’t seen since last July at our Summer Top Prospects Games. His best tool is the overall athleticism, twitchy athlete with explosive actions and a confident demeanor. The skillset continues to refine, most notably in the BP portion of the workout where his improved physicality shined through with the power element increasing since last year. The arm action always showed signs of potential growth and velocity, but until this weekend he hadn’t put it together. With the added gains this offseason and projectable frame with his tools, his best ball is still ahead of him and will be an intriguing follow this Spring.

McCoy Johnson OF / RHP / Alta, UT / 2026Rankings StateRank: 5 / POS: 1
McCoy continues to showcase his elite offensive prowess that has been on display since March of last year, prior to his 13 HR Spring and explosive Summer circuit. Saturday was no different, as his ability to create backspin and loft while maintaining a high contact rate was there once again, driving balls to the deepest parts of the park with a few landing well past the fence. He shows a mature sense of timing and awareness of his barrel in the zone, with an ability to adjust mid-swing and keep the palm up through extension. A huge offensive season looks to be in store for the Army West Point commit again this year. The notable added strength and power in the offseason is significant, as his arm strength seems to have now translated to the mound where he was 85-87 T88.2, but has been in the 90 range at some recent games. Electric, loose action with elite backspin see his throws carry long distances while maintaining velocity with plus accuracy. The top 5 ranked player in the class looks ready to go with the season just one week away. Highlights: Max EV (99.2) Avg EV (91.2) Max Dist (‘375) OF Velo (92) 60 time (6.67)

|
Cooper Goff OF / Mountain Ridge, UT / 2027Cooper has been on a steady, upward trajectory for the last year that has really set him apart and vaulted him into the Top 100 National Rankings for the '27 class. We got our first close look at his game this weekend as a new staff and came away extremely impressed with the overall package. The future Horned Frog can flat out hit. Period. It doesn’t take long to determine why his offensive game has been so productive and explosive the last 12 months. Effortless pop and a strong sense of barrel awareness in the zone from the left side make him one of the most, if not the most, dangerous hitters in the state. He creates natural backspin and has shown a consistent ability to get the hands extended, and drive balls out of the ball park. With the added physicality in the offseason, now 6’1 179 lbs, the power numbers stand to make another significant jump and make him a candidate for potential POTY in 2026.

Karson Fankhauser RHP / 1B / Mountain Ridge High School, UT / 2027Rankings StateRank: 29 / POS: 8
Karson has put in the work this offseason, making notable progress since we saw him at the West Coast Games in California last October. The Junior right-hander is coming off a strong Sophomore season from the mound, playing a key role for the Sentinels and pitching in big games throughout the year. That experience and the offseason gains have begun to bear fruit as his bullpen on Saturday was impressive. He sat 84-86 at the WCG but pounded the zone with all 4 of his pitches, showcasing a mature sense of his mechanics with repeat ability. The intent is there and has a smooth, deliberate delivery down the mound and aggressively rotates at release with an over the top delivery and natural ASR. The FB/CH combo is going to present problems for opposing left handed hitters, while the addition of the CV/SL makes him tough on the righties. With the added strength the FB now sits 87-89 and should continue to produce swing and miss up in the zone. Karson looks fresh and ready for a breakout season for a team with deep playoff run aspirations.

Schafer Dixon RHP / 1B / Mountain Ridge, UT / 2027Rankings StateRank: 30 / POS: 9
Schafer has been on our radar since last Summer as one to keep an eye on to make a significant jump sooner rather than later. He had moments this Fall where he looked to be on the right track, most notably at the West Coast Games last October in California at LMU. The FB sat 84-87 but the jump we anticipated appears to have arrived, as he was 87-91 on Saturday with an improved sense of the zone that still needs to refine, but nonetheless an overall impressive outing. The clear upside comes from his athletic, 6’6 frame that he is still growing into and learning how to repeat his delivery with. As he continues to mature physically the consistency in the zone is going to come and present real problems for opposing hitters. Put Schafer squarely on your names to follow in the '27 class this Spring.

Connor Ybarra OF / RHP / Pleasant Grove High School, UT / 2027Connor was recommended highly by Coach Henry at Pleasant Grove as a player we needed to get a look at. His first Prep Baseball event was our Preseason All State and he performed as advertised. The 6’1 167 lb Junior two way talent showcased his skills throughout the day and has excellent athletic upside. All of his metrics are above average and the natural ball player actions are clear to see, even from a small sample size. From the mound the FB sat 86-88 with an athletic, loose arm and has continued room to add velocity over the next year. A quality overall workout and a player that we will absolutely have to follow more closely moving forward. Highlights: Max FB (88) Max EV (95.8) 60 Time (7.08) Max Dist (374’) OF Velo (85)

Kanon Virostko C / OF / Kanab, UT / 2027Rankings StateRank: 57 / POS: 8
The hardest thing to project when evaluating young players is work ethic, and how they will invest their time in the offseasons. Kanon made clear on Saturday what he has been doing with his time, he has been in the lab! The added physicality made an impression on our staff, as he is up nearly 25 pounds from last year’s Preseason All State event. The power numbers have directly benefitted from the additional strength, with his BP round turning heads full of loud contact and deep shots throughout. The swing is smoother and more repeatable with improved posture and balance through extension. His max distance has taken a massive jump, from 348’ to 406’ with the average distance increasing over 100’ (197’ -> 306’). The 6’1 187 lb Junior is taking more consistent swings and has become a real power threat in the box, and we expect a monster season from Kanon.

Jack Salmon SS / 2B / Wasatch, UT / 2027Rankings StateRank: 38 / POS: 8
Jack has been on a clear mission in the last 6 months, investing significant amounts of time in the offseason working on his game and physicality. Essentially every aspect of his game and all of his metrics have taken substantial jumps from the Summer Top Prospects Games, to the Fall Top Prospects Games and into the Preseason All State on Saturday. The most impressive growth has come from his overall athleticism and his offense, putting together one of the best rounds we saw from anyone at the event. Consistently hammering baseballs on a line with a direct, flat path to contact and living in the middle of the field. The trajectory doesn’t appear to be slowing down anytime soon and he looks ready for a breakout season in 2026. Highlights: Max EV (103.1) Max Dist (368’) INF velo (82) 60 time (6.99) |
|
Isaac Swanson C / SS / Desert Hills, UT / 2027Rankings StateRank: 51 / POS: 6
Isaac continues to showcase his excellent athleticism and defensive prowess behind the plate every time we see him, with Saturday being no exception. The catching style is smooth and twitchy with a bounce to his step and very quick hands/feet combo. He is back there to work for his pitcher and keep runners from advancing, which he has become proficient at a high level over the past year. The arm talent with quick exchanges make him tough to run on consistently, posting consistent sub 2.0 pop times and even flashing an elite 1.85 with accuracy on Saturday. Offensively he can swing it, with sneaky pop that you wouldn’t expect from a 145 lb frame, but his strength is present and with added weight should make significant strides to his overall game. This is a plus athlete behind the dish that can play at a high level with tons of room for added growth and physical maturation, circle his name moving forward.

Dallon Molder OF / LHP / Jordan, UT / 2027Rankings StateRank: 43 / POS: 8
We got our first look at Dallon on Saturday since last year’s Preseason All State event, and his overall growth and maturity were apparent. Up over 15 pounds and a couple inches taller, the physical development has increased the power numbers across the board and most notably with the arm, which went from 80 a year ago to an impressive 88 this weekend. At 6’1 190 lbs he can really move in the OF and presents a legit power threat in the box from the left side. An aggressive athlete with clear intent to do damage at the plate and a live arm action, the Junior out of Jordan looks ready for a big season in 2026. Highlights: Max EV (98.4) 60 time (7.02) OF velo (88) Bat Speed (72.7) |
|
Daxton Davis OF / LHP / Mountain Ridge, UT / 2027Rankings StateRank: 58 / POS: 12
Daxton continues to demonstrate extreme physical upside with his 6’5 184 lb frame that has ample room for added growth in the near future. His athleticism at that size is impressive and sets him apart from a lot of his peers, and if the skills can continue to refine and improve, we could be looking at a future big time prospect. The foundation is there and the surprising strength and agility make him an even more exciting, must follow prospect moving forward. The metrics are well above average and he checks a lot of the boxes you want to see from a high level recruit: speed, power and arm talent. At times the swing can get too big but the power element is real and present when he keeps the hands tight and inside the baseball. Daxton will be an intriguing follow this Spring for a loaded Mtn Ridge group.

Jonathon McGuire RHP / OF / Dixie, UT / 2027Rankings StateRank: 48 / POS: 13
It had been over a year and a half since we got our last close up look at Jonny, and his game has improved dramatically in that span. The overall performance was what impressed our staff the most, posting quality numbers in every category and flashing his offensive maturity during the BP round. The ability to keep things simple and repeat his swing in the box was apparent, with a quiet confidence translating to loud contact throughout the round and rarely missing barrels. His approach through the middle played well with his player profile and saw him square up the baseball at an 89% sweet spot rate. From the mound the arm action works over the top with a deliberate delivery and attack mindset. The same quiet confidence he showed in the box was there in the bullpen, but you can feel the competitiveness even in a showcase format. Very intriguing day from the Junior OF out of Dixie HS and will be a player we look forward to following closer this Spring.

|
Wyatt Penrod C / SS / West Field, UT / 2027Rankings StateRank: 77 / POS: 10
Wyatt got his first chance at a Prep Baseball event at our All State event this past weekend, after being very highly recommended as a top player at his HS by the coaching staff. His performance was as advertised, and even better than expected. The 5’10 175 lb Junior out of Westlake had been in the Dominican Republic the last two years, learning the game and competing year round which seems to have served him well. The overall workout was impressive, catching the eye of our staff not only from behind the plate but also during the BP round. A quiet receiver and willing blocker with a strong catch and throw tool that saw accurate throws to the bag. Sound mechanics and smooth exchanges with consistent throws in the 1.98-2.03 range. The offensive tool is slightly more advanced, flashing real power and a mature approach in the box with a repeatable, intentional swing. Our first time meeting Wyatt and we came away with a strong first impression. Keep this kid on your watch lists for the 2027 class moving forward.

Jack Dodson RHP / OF / Pleasant Grove, UT / 2027Rankings StateRank: 56 / POS: 17
ack was one of the pleasant surprises at this event, showcasing his hard work during the offseason that clearly was invested into his game and body. Up nearly 15 pounds in just over 3 months since we last saw him at the Fall Top Prospects Games, the physicality has significantly improved and translated immediately. He’s made the move to focus solely on pitching at this point, which seems to have paid off as his progress from the mound is substantial. Now standing at 6’3 192 lbs, the Junior right-hander flashed high upside on Saturday during his bullpen. The FB had real life topping out at 88.9, up from 85.5 a few months prior. The delivery is aggressive and intentional, getting downhill and staying on the top of the FB very well. He has a tendency to get around the breaking ball at times but has solid depth and movement with sharp, late break when he gets extended out front. The CH has real potential to produce swing and miss and play off the FB to keep hitters off balance. Very intriguing day from Jack and should get opportunities to pitch in big spots this Spring for a loaded Pleasant Grove staff.
