Starting on Opening Day, our scouts will be out covering the 2026 season, publishing scout notes and additional in-season content along the way, like Power Rankings updates, Player of the Week awards, and weekly top performers included inside Diamond Notes.

Each week during the high school season, we will provide a Hitter and Pitcher of the Week. All nominations are submitted by their high school coaches.

Today we spotlight Woodbury's Kai Larsen, who went 7-for-7 with 4 doubles, scored 6 times and drove in another 5. At the end of the week, the UW-La Crosse commit was hitting .727 on the season helping the Royals stay undefeated to start the year.
