Prep Baseball Report

Week 4 2026 WA Pitcher of the Week - Zach Morris

Dylan Grenz
Assistant Scouting Director

Each week throughout the high school season, we will announce the Prep Baseball Washington Pitcher and Hitter of the Week, recognizing standout performances from across the state. With numerous players excelling both at the plate and on the mound, this award will be based on nominations submitted through our POTW Google Form.

Additionally, we will continue our Washington Diamond Notes to highlight other deserving players nominated by coaches who were not selected as the Pitcher or Hitter of the Week.

This week's Pitcher of the Week is '26 RHP Zach Morris (Emerald Ridge).

WA PITCHER OF THE WEEK (3/30-4/5)

Zach Morris RHP / Emerald Ridge, WA / 2026

The Emerald Ridge senior spun a gem against a Power 25 side last week, going a complete game 7 innings without allowing a hit. Morris struck out 8, walked 3 and allowed just 1 run to win POTW for week 4 of Washington HS action. The Columbia Basin commit was seen earlier this spring with an intriguing arsenal and a fastball into the upper 80's at its best.
