NOTABLE RECAPS FROM MONDAY
#1 Spanish Fork (1) vs. #14 Pleasant Grove (7)
The Pleasant Grove Vikings delivered a statement win on the road, riding a dominant pitching performance from Mason Henry to defeat the undefeated Spanish Fork Dons in a 7–1 victory. Henry was nearly untouchable, racking up 12 strikeouts over 6.2 innings and allowing only one earned run to dismantle a potent Spanish Fork lineup. Offensively, the Vikings were clinical, led by Nash Clement, who drove in three runs, and Damon Banks, who stayed hot with a pair of doubles. While Spanish Fork found a bright spot in relief through Matai Johnson, who fanned seven batters in just over three frames, they were unable to manufacture a late-inning rally against the Vikings' high-velocity command and defensive poise in Game 1 of this premeir matchup between region opponents.

#17 Salem Hills (0) vs. #4 Maple Mountain (5)
The Maple Mountain Golden Eagles soared to a dominant 5–0 shutout victory over the Salem Hills Skyhawks, powered by a clinical complete-game performance from Kavyn Carter. Carter was the undisputed star of the afternoon, navigating all seven innings with surgical precision, surrendering just five hits and zero walks to keep the Salem Hills offense completely neutralized. While the Skyhawks found occasional life through a multi-hit effort from Leyva and a double by Wallin, they were unable to crack Carter's rhythm or manufacture a run.
The Golden Eagles' offense provided all the support Carter needed early on, highlighted by a towering two-run home run from Jeremiah Hall. Mitch Walker added to the tally with an RBI double, and Lincoln Beenfield executed a perfect sacrifice fly to extend the lead. Despite a gritty five-inning start from Salem Hills' Howard, who allowed only two earned runs, the Skyhawks' defensive miscues and Carter’s elite command ensured that Maple Mountain maintained control from the first pitch to the final out.

Union (7) vs. #16 Corner Canyon (13)
The Corner Canyon Chargers broke out of a recent offensive slump in a major way, outslugging the Union Cougars to secure a high-scoring 13–7 victory. Union showed plenty of fight early, jumping on the Chargers for six runs in the first three frames, fueled by the patience of Gannon Labrum and sacrifice flies from Dylan Watahomigie. However, Corner Canyon’s bats were relentless, racking up 12 hits and capitalizing on three Union errors to pull away in the middle innings. Munson and Brady spearheaded the attack with multi-hit, multi-RBI performances, but the true game-changer was Baik on the mound. Entering in relief, Baik tossed 2.2 innings of perfect, hitless baseball to completely stifle the Cougars’ comeback hopes and earn the win.

Timpview (2) vs. #22 Wasatch (6)
The Wasatch Wasps utilized a disciplined approach at the plate and a shutdown pitching performance from Miguel Armendariz to secure a 6–2 victory over the Timpview T-Birds. Armendariz was the story of the day on the mound, navigating five innings and surrendering zero earned runs while fanning four to earn the win. Offensively, Braxton Faller was the spark plug for the Wasps, turning in a perfect 2-for-2 afternoon with an RBI and a stolen base, while Royal Matthews provided the extra-base muscle with a clutch double.
Timpview struggled to find a rhythm against the Wasatch arms, though Cole Engemann did his best to keep the T-Birds in the hunt. Engemann led the team with a multi-hit game at the plate and gritted through 5.2 innings on the bump, but defensive miscues and a lack of timely hitting hindered the comeback effort. After Trevin Tatton entered in the sixth to provide two scoreless innings of relief, the Wasps effectively neutralized any late-inning threats to protect their home turf and climb the region standings.
