What's New In The Top 10

Ryder Concannon RHP / OF / Saline / 2027

Report: Ryder committed to Coach Sabins & Co. not too long after attending the 2025 Future Games with Team Michigan. Another Saline product who has made big gains in velocity this offseason running it up to 95 MPH at our annual ProCase earlier in March. Ryder has also seen some strength gains in his core and legs.  Concannon will be to keep a close eye on as we head into the season & summer.

Josh Vanderlugt LHP / Hudsonville / 2027

Report: VanderLught jumps into the top 10 after a strong finish to the summer & gained a ton of momentum into the offseason. The southpaw pledged his commitment to the University of South Florida. Josh touts a large frame with long limbs & an improving arsenal with a fastball into the low 90s. VanderLught will help lead a talented Hudsonville squad this spring on the mound.

Owen Tornga RHP / Mona Shores / 2027

Report: Tornga is yet another West Michigan native who continues to develop at a quick pace with loads of projectability. We saw Owen a handful of times last year in June and the fall with Grand Rapids Diamonds. Tornga boasts a large 6’6 body and developing lower half. Generates some arm side run to the fastball which we’ve seen predominantly 88-90 but will run it up to 92-93. The breaking ball is continuing to improve - Tornga is primed for what should be a big spring on the west side of the state for the Sailors.

The Risers

Blake Brown RHP / OF / Gull Lake / 2027

Report: Brown makes another jump after some serious investment into the offseason and is now at GLHS. Brvown should play a key factor for Coach Miller and the Blue Devils this spring on the mound - look for Brown to lead in a number of categories this spring in SW Michigan.

Cashton Sedlar OF / Bedford / 2027

Report: Sedlar made a big impact at our preseason all state event in February. Our staff noticed the growth he made physically & the improvements he’s made. We still believe there is more physicality coming for Sedlar as he is younger for his class. Sedlar will be a difficult out this spring - poised for a big spring.

Bryce Marszalek OF / Milford / 2027

Report: Marszalek could have as much upside as anyone in the class - physical athlete standing 6’4 195 - Bryce has made noticeable adjustments in his swing this offseason & has seen a jump in arm velocity as he was up to 90 from the outfield evaluation. Marszalek should have a chance to rack up big offensive numbers this spring hitting in the heart of the order for Milford.

Notable Newcomer

Bennett Gaston SS / Lumen Christi / 2027

Report: Gaston joins the rankings after a big few months. Initially saw Gaston back in 2024 in the MHSAA finals for Lumen as a Freshman & came up clutch with a game winner to send LC to the finals. Since - he has grown & added to his tool kit with a nice left handed stroke & quality feet from the SS position. A name all regional programs should tune in on this spring as he looks to help lead LC back to another deep postseason run.

The Sleepers

Adam Narr SS / RHP / Lutheran North / 2027

Report: Narr will headline a LN team offensively with more bat to ball skills than power at the moment - but will be a main stay in the middle of the diamond for the Crusaders - comes off a solid summer season with the Detroit Prospects & poised for strong spring.

Alex Abler RHP / OF / Novi / 2027

Report: Abler we highlighted some this winter as he came to our Preseason All State event in February - another Wildcat arm who runs the fastball into the upper 80s with a ¾ slot - excited to see Abler create more buzz for himself this spring at Novi.

Gabe Wegener LHP / OF / Bay City Western / 2027

Report: Wegener looks to play a key role for the Warriors this coming spring as a two-way that will gobble up innings & get some important at bats in an always difficult SVL - as of late has produced some of the states top players over the last two decades.

The Gamers

Taber Edwards-Benner SS / RHP / Midland, MI / 2027

Report: Edwards-Benner stock continues to rise in the class with improvements across the board. A multi-athlete for the Chemics, Taber will lock down the SS position once again this spring & will add on to his career number at MHS. Not shy of big moments - Taber went toe to toe with some of the states biggest arms last spring & summer holding his own with some big swings, look for him to repeat that this coming season.

Graham Kubiak SS / RHP / Vicksburg, MI / 2027

Report: Kubiak is another uncommitted infielder our staff likes as there is versatility in his game & makes an intriguing prospect swinging from the left side. Graham has added healthy weight which will elevate his offensive production this spring. Continues to hold his own on left side of diamond as well - solid follow.

Maguire Bowles OF / Vicksburg High School, MI / 2027

Report: We previously highlighted Maguire earlier in the winter months - but another VHS player who makes a jump in the March update - we expect Bowles to have a solid spring on both sides of the ball & impact the games with his legs.
