NY Class of 2026: Spring Rankings Update

Prep Baseball NY Staff

The Empire State preseason circuit is in the books, and the Class of 2026 continues to separate itself as one of the most complete and competitive groups in the country. With high-end talent throughout the board, this class has only strengthened New York’s reputation as a national hotbed.

The top remains firm, as Ruiz holds the No. 1 spot and David Hinojosa stays locked in at No. 2 following a standout Super 60 performance. Behind them, the board saw plenty of movement, with multiple prospects making loud statements at the Northeast ProCase — showcasing real gains in strength, athleticism, and overall tool progression.

Now entering their final high school season, the 2026 class shifts into a defining stretch. Commitments are locking in, roles are expanding, and the urgency is real. With one last spring ahead, this group is primed to make its final mark before taking the next step.

We break down each Top 10 player below, along with the FULL RANKINGS HERE
