2028 LHP Yariel “Lito” Diaz, TNXL Academy (FL), Uncommitted
Diaz delivered a highly impressive outing last week, showing off some of the most polish and pitchability in the entire 2028 class. The uncommitted southpaw utilizes a highly projectable, athletic 6-foot-1, 170-pound frame on the mound. Operating from the left side, he was in complete control of the game, tossing 3.2 scoreless innings while scattering just one hit and a single walk to go along with a pair of strikeouts. His impactful three-pitch mix is anchored by a lively fastball that sat 86-90 mph and touched 91 mph (2246 RPM). To keep opposing hitters off-balance, he tunneled a sharp 76-78 mph slider (2487 RPM) that flashed advanced spin and bite, while also successfully killing spin on a deceptive 81-84 mph changeup (1653 RPM) to induce weak contact. Diaz continues to cement his status as a future impact starter at the next level out of the Sunshine State.

2026 RHP Coleton Brady, TNXL Academy (FL), LSU recruit
First look at Brady in his senior spring. The LSU recruit brings an imposing, extra-large 6-foot-5, 218-pound frame to the mound. Operating from the right side, he showcased an advanced blend of velocity and pitchability, comfortably attacking hitters and dictating tempo. His four-pitch mix is exceptionally loud, led by a heavy, overpowering fastball that worked up to 94 mph (2120 RPM). Brady displayed confidence in his breaking pitches, spinning a sharp 81-84 mph slider (2453 RPM) and a hard-biting 79-80 mph curveball (2418 RPM) that both flashed potential to generate swing-and-miss. Furthermore, he showed feel for killing spin on his 84-87 mph changeup, with spin rate down to 1028 RPM to create heavy tumbling action and deceive opposing bats. Brady's ceiling is sky-high. He possesses the mound presence and power repertoire needed to dominate high-level competition right now, while still maintaining the physical runway to add even more ticks to his heater.

2026 LHP Spencer Evans, TNXL Academy (FL), LSU recruit
Evans provided a good look at his spring season, reaffirming his status as a premier, high-octane arm in the 2026 class. The LSU recruit features a lean, highly athletic 6-foot-3, 180-pound build that offers excellent leverage and natural looseness on the mound. Operating from the left side, he showcases electric arm speed and top-of-the-scale raw talent that immediately commands attention from the moment he takes the rubber. His premium three-pitch mix is highlighted by an explosive fastball that came out of the gate hot, sitting an effortless 93-95 mph (2176 RPM) in the early going. To complement the elite heater, Evans throws a hard, tumbling 86-89 mph changeup (1617 RPM) that plays exceptionally well off his fastball plane, successfully killing spin to create late fading action. He rounds out the arsenal with a tight 81-86 mph slider (2371 RPM), giving him a reliable, high-spin breaking ball to attack both sides of the plate. Over five innings of work, the southpaw racked up seven strikeouts, generating an eye-opening 42% whiff rate on the day. While his command wavered slightly after a dominant first frame, ultimately yielding three runs on five hits and a pair of walks, the pure stuff never backed up. Evans’s ability to miss bats at such a high clip, combined with his top-tier velocity from the left side, makes him a massive, high-ceiling get for the Tigers’ recruiting class.
‘26 Spencer Evans (FL) came out the gate strong sitting 93-95 early. Hard CH plays well of the FB.
