Position Players

+ SS Ryan Marmolejos (Wilson, 2027):

The 5-foot-10, 165-pound shortstop was one of the event’s top overall athletes and performers. Marmolejos started his day with a blazing 6.87 sixty-yard dash and then followed it up with a clean defensive round where he showcased an 85 mph arm strength across the diamond. Offensively, his batting practice round was loud with an exit velocity up to 98.1 mph. Athletic middle infielder to watch.

+ SS Kaden Cortez (La Salle Catholic, 2027):

Currently the 11th ranked shortstop in the state’s 2027 class, Cortez is an athletic shortstop with a physical 6-foot, 200-pound frame. He ran a 7.11 sixty-yard dash showcasing his straight-line speed and displayed his lateral agility during his defensive round while also touching 88 mph across the diamond. Offensively, he produced a 99.2 mph exit velocity while naturally elevating the baseball 380 feet. Uncommitted shortstop to look out for.

+ OF Ethan Strawn (Nazareth Area, 2028):

Currently the 55th ranked player in the state’s 2028 class, Strawn has built a tremendous amount of movement heading into the high school season. The outfielder ran a 7.00 sixty-yard dash showcasing his straight-line speed. From the outfield Strawn threw 85 mph which tied him for the event’s top outfield velocity. Offensively, he put together a mature round full of hard-hit baseballs to all fields while showing the power with a 94.7 mph exit velocity. Player to watch heading into his sophomore season.

2 Ways

+ 3B/RHP Markus Jones (Salisbury, 2027):

Currently ranked the 48th overall and 6th third baseman in the state’s 2027 class, Jones made his first Prep Baseball appearance since 2022  and was an instant standout player. The 6-foot-2, 198-pound two-way prospect led the event in exit velocity and was top 4 in fastball velocity and infield velocity. The dynamic prospect produced a 105.5 mph exit velocity, an 87 mph infield velocity, and an 88.4 mph fastball velocity. On the mound, Jones also flashes a swing and miss potential slider at 77-78 mph with 2,350 rpm. Jones is a must see prospect this spring.

+ SS/RHP Cam Rakaczewski (Greencastle-Antrim, 2028):

Currently ranked 15th overall in the state’s 2028 class, Rakaczewski made his Prep Baseball showcase debut and did not disappoint. The two-way prospect has a physical 6-foot-1, 175-pound frame with present athleticism running a 7.31 sixty-yard dash. Offensively, Rakaczewski produced loud noises while posting a 105.2 mph exit alongside an eye-popping 31.8g of rotational acceleration. On the mound, his fastball peaked at 89.2 mph while sitting 85-87 mph with over 17 inches of horizontal movement. He also flashed a late breaking slider at 74-75 mph with -5.2 inches of IVB and -5.7 inches of horizontal movement. Cam is a can’t miss prospect heading into the spring and summer seasons.

+ RHP/OF Ben Gracie-Griffin (State College Area, 2028):

The right‑hander worked with a lively fastball at 87–89 mph, showing the athleticism and intent you want to see on the mound. His 72–75 mph slider spun up to 2,400 rpm with enough bite to miss barrels, and he mixed in a 77 mph changeup that flashed feel. The arm strength translated to the box as well, where he posted a 99.5 mph exit velocity during BP. There's a real two‑way upside here with a chance for the stuff to keep trending upward.

+ RHP/SS Vincent Boland (Hollidaysburg Area, 2027):

The athletic right‑hander sat 86–87 mph with a clean, repeatable operation and showed two distinct breaking balls, including a 78–81 mph slider spinning north of 2,500 rpm with late bite. He also mixed a firm 78 mph curveball that gave him a different look and kept hitters off balance. His athleticism carried over to BP, where he produced a 92 mph exit velocity, and he posted a 7.11 sixty that speaks to his overall movement patterns.

Pitchers

+ RHP Thatcher Brown (Germantown Academy, 2027):

Brown put together a well-rounded bullpen where his fastball peaked at 88.9 mph and was landed for strikes 86% of the time. The 6-foot-3, 210-pound right handed pitcher showcased a 4-pitch arsenal that included an upper 80s fastball, 66-67 mph curveball, 73-75 mph slider with -14 inches of horizontal movement, and a 77-78 mph changeup. Brown is an Eastern PA RHP to follow.

+ LHP Trey Damschroder (Williamsport Area, 2027):

Not just a top performing pitcher but one of the event’s most impressive performances. Damschroder is a lean and twitchy left-handed pitcher that flooded the strike zone with all 4 of his pitches. His fastball was consistently 83-84 mph with 17 inches of IVB, the curveball was 71-72 mph, slider was 72-73 mph, and his changeup was 78-79 mph. Damschroder is a strike-throwing pitcher with an athletic, projectable frame.
