We had a busy summer with covering tournaments at LakePoint to Summer ID's and Top Prospect Games. This class continues to develop with new prospects emerging and players starting to find their 4 year home. We will continue to follow this class closely into the fall and preseason then get one more look at them during their senior year. With the Fall circuit approaching we breakdown some of the top performers that impressed amongst our staff across the summer circuit.

Summary:
One of the hottest players in the entire country, Wall showed off the potent hit/power combo at will while facing premier arm talents across the summer circuit. Firmly cementing himself near the top of the ‘27 catching pool with his sights now set on next years MLB Draft. Morneau had shown signs of a polished hitter throughout the years and fully stepped into that profile after a banner year, and remains one of the top uncommitted backstops in the state. Banner year all-around for Allen as he was a staple for a Pickens squad that won a 3A state championship. High-floor profile with present above-average tools that carried over into the summer circuit and is now garnering interest amongst various different levels. Standout campaign for Dockter who has shown well and then some throughout since the start of the year. Positional versatility is present with hitterish traits in the box while continuing to make strides to the overall profile and could push a recruiting class over the top. Two of the more physically imposing bats in the state, Brown and Fontenot, did nothing but pummel baseballs at LakePoint this past summer resulting in a pair of commitments for both. The pair would both show power stuff from the right-side on the mound that will ultimately play at the next level. Williams has been a consistent standout amongst staff over the years with another banner year under his belt this spring/summer. High-floor profile and always stays within himself at the dish as he does damage amongst all mixes. Which points to a sure fire bet to be a key piece in a lineup at the next level in due time. Little, a former Future Gamer, performed against stout arm talents across my looks while simply playing with his hair on fire, and further staked his claim as one of the top uncommitted outfielders still on the market. Another outfielder that embodies the term gamer is Will, who looked the part throughout the year and opened the summer at a torrid pace. Further followed it with an invite to Senior Future Games and shortly after earned a commitment to play at the next level. Two of the breakout arms of the year, Grubbs and Baxter, pitched at a high-level throughout the spring and summer circuits as they would earn Senior Future Games bids to show for it. They kept the train rolling with another excellent look on a massive stage and both would cap off a stellar campaign, with a pair of D1 commitments as they head into their senior seasons.
