The 2027 class in Pennsylvania is shaping up to be one of the deepest and most talented groups the state has produced in recent memory. From power bats capable of turning games with one swing, to power arms sitting mid 90s, this class is loaded from top to bottom. Add in a wave of true two-way standouts and premium athletes who profile at multiple positions, and it's easy to make the case that this is one of the best classes in Pennsylvania Prep Baseball history.

Top 10

Leo Nockley SS / Wyoming Seminary Preparatory School, PA / 2027

Nockley a Tennessee commit has been one of the fastest growing household names, not only within the state but nationally as well. Present power and hit tool makes him one of the more intriguing MLB Draft prospects in the country. All of that paired with mature actions defensively has jumped him to new territory as he takes over the #1 spot within the class.

Brady Guzzie OF / LHP / Conwell Egan Catholic, PA / 2027

Guzzie has been a front runner for being the top arm in the state since Day 1. Repeatable delivery with a low pulse and projection through the roof. The Virginia commit impressed throughout the summer circuit turning heads at every stop.  

Chris Grasso RHP / 3B / St Joseph's Preparatory School, PA / 2027

Grasso continues to make a name for himself at every stop along the way. Huge upside with a starter profile is a lot to like from a Northeast arm. Some of the best pitch profiles in the class with a wipeout slider that has present swing and miss. The University of Miami commit climbed nationally as one of the top RHP in the nation.

Graham Keen RHP / OF / Mt Lebanon, PA / 2027

Keen is one of the most dymanic athletes in the country. Can impact the game in all facets, whether it's with one big swing, making a play defensively or coming in and slamming the door shut on the mound with a mid-90s FB. The Vanderbilt commit shows why he is one of the top two-way players in the country.

Trent Lutz RHP / 3B / Souderton Area, PA / 2027

The recent Wake Forest commit has certainly been one of the most talked about prospects in the state. A dymanic mover, with lightning fast arm speed has created a lot of positive buzz. Don't be shocked to see Lutz make a fast climb into the conversation as one of the top RHP in the country!

Jalen Bowman OF / RHP / Malvern Prep, PA / 2027

The NC State Commit is one of the more intriguing talents within the state. Blazing speed that translates to the game. A difference maker in all facets. The hit tool and power upside have continued to develop. Bowman has been at the center of many conversations this year as a big winner on the circuit!

Cole Kuhn RHP / 1B / St. Joseph's preparatory School, PA / 2027

Kuhn may possess one of the top arm talents Pennsylvania has ever seen. Fastballs near triple digits in gameplay. Command continues to develop with flashes of being dominate in and out of the zone. Will be one of the most talked about and watched prospects on the eastern half this spring. 

Jacob Carrasco C / 3B / Manheim Township, PA / 2027

Carrasco has been a staple name within the class. Seems to alway produce on some of the biggest stages. This summer was no different, one of the biggest winners within the circuit from PA. Put together QABs, loud barrels and present hit tool at every stop. The Oregon Commit will be one of the most watched draft prospects within the state next spring. 

Nick Machusko 3B / 1B / Moon Area, PA / 2027

The Virginia commit has certainly made a name for himself. Strong frame with feel for the barrel. Present power upside with the chance to hit for average as well at the next level as a middle of the order bat. Machusko has a chance to be special as he trends in the right direction. 

Troy Stimpson C / OF / Canon-McMillan, PA / 2027

The Pittsburgh Commit has had a fast climb into the Top 10. Solid defender with present hit tool. Flashes some power upside, a dynamic player that stands out on the big stage. Will be one of the top players on the western half of the state this spring.
