Risers
#9 Millennium
The Tigers surge back into the Top 10, climbing five spots after a strong week of play in the Boras Classic where they made it to the Champnionship game through pure grit. The offense has begun to find its rhythm, showing the ability to string together quality at-bats while the pitching staff continues to stabilize and keep them in ball games. Millennium is trending back toward the form that had them as a preseason Top 5 club.
#11 Liberty
Liberty jumps four spots this week as the Lions continue to stack wins and gain momentum. The combination of steady pitching and timely hitting has allowed them to win close games, and they are beginning to look like a well-rounded group of hard-nosed ball players capable of making noise as the season progresses.
#13 Chaparral
Chaparral moves up four spots and continues to quietly build momentum. With arguably the best starting pitching roation in the state the Firebirds have shown resilience in tight matchups and are starting to piece together more complete performances on both sides of the ball. With consistency trending upward, Chaparral is firmly back in the mix in the middle tier.
Fallers
#15 Hamilton
The Huskies slide five spots this week as inconsistency continues to be the theme early in the season. While the talent level remains high, Hamilton has struggled to maintain momentum across full games compared to other 6A programs who are beginning to separate themselves. They remain dangerous, but need a more complete week to climb back up.
#14 Sahuarita
Despite an outstanding 13-1-1 record, Sahuarita drops three spots as the gap between 6A and lower classification schedules continues to show in the rankings. The Mustangs are still one of the premier teams outside of 6A, but battle-tested resumes at the top have pushed them down slightly this week.
#17 Canyon View
Canyon View slips back one spot in a tightly packed middle tier where minimal separation exists. The Jaguars continue to be a solid club, but with several teams around them picking up quality wins, they are edged back slightly in this week’s reshuffling.
Newcomers
#20 Arizona College Prep
Arizona College Prep breaks into the rankings this week after putting together a strong 11-3 start. The Knights have shown the ability to compete with high-level competition while consistently producing offensively. Their balanced attack and steady performance earn them a spot inside the Top 25 as they look to continue climbing.
