The Tartars built an early lead thanks to a two-run home run in the first inning and a two-run double in the third, finishing with four RBIs on two hits. On the mound, the starter tossed six innings, allowing just two hits and two unearned runs while helping secure the victory.

+ PICAYUNE VS ST. ALOYSIUS

Picayune secured a 4-3 walk-off victory over St. Aloysius on Tuesday at Hancock High School. The game remained tight throughout before Picayune pushed across two runs in the bottom of the eighth inning, capped by a sacrifice fly to seal the win. Picayune showed patience at the plate with seven walks and added pressure on the bases with six stolen bases, while both teams collected five hits in the contest.

+ TUPELO VS VANCLEAVE

Tupelo edged Vancleave 2-1 on Tuesday in a pitcher’s duel. Tupelo’s starter tossed a complete-game effort, allowing six hits and one run while striking out eight with no walks. Trailing late, Tupelo took the lead in the seventh inning on a two-run home run that proved to be the difference, while both teams received strong performances on the mound throughout the game.

+ EAST UNION VS CORINTH

Corinth defeated East Union 4-1 on Tuesday behind a dominant performance on the mound. The starter struck out 11 over six innings while allowing just four hits and one run.
