2026 OSSAA Team Preview: Edmond Santa Fe Wolves
February 23, 2026
The Oklahoma high school baseball season kicks off on Feb. 23 for classes A and B and Mar. 1 for classes 2A-6A, opening day for regular season action under OSSAA regulations. Leading up to opening day, we’ll be publishing our team previews ahead of the 2025 spring season, touching on programs spanning all state classifications, counting down to the official Prep Baseball Oklahoma Preseason Power 25 Rankings.
Perennially, we’ve submitted a preseason questionnaire to high school head coaches across the entire state. Their responses have been flooding in and we’re using the detailed insight they’ve provided in our team-by-team preseason analysis.
Our 2026 preseason coverage continues today.
High School: Edmond Santa Fe
Head Coach: Kris Webb (14)
Classification: 6A
2025 Record (Finish): 36-7, 6A State Champions
2026 SEASON OUTLOOK
No. of Returning Position Players: 2
No. of Returning Pitchers: 4
Top Returners:
- Brady Morgeson: 2B,175, 5'10, 2026, L/R.
- Brady is a four-year starter at SF and will be our everyday second baseman, hitting at the top of our lineup. He is the heart and soul of our team. Brady is an elite hitter with outstanding plate discipline, and his leadership capabilities are second to none. In my opinion, he is one of the best left-handed bats in Oklahoma. While coaches say this often, it truly applies here—Brady is not only a great player, but an even better person. Blinn JC commit.
- Cole Britton: LF, 175, 6'0, 2026, R/R.
- Cole would be a four-year starter if not for a season-ending injury last year. He will be our everyday left fielder and a middle-of-the-lineup bat. Cole has the ability to change the game with one swing, and he is a fierce competitor and a great teammate who brings toughness and leadership to our lineup.
- Summit Rogers: P, 180, 6'0, 2026 R/R.
- Summit will be stepping into a new role for us this spring. After spending most of his SF career as a bullpen arm, we are transitioning him into a starting role. We love Summit’s competitiveness and the way he consistently gives everything he has for the club. He is a passionate teammate who brings energy and commitment to our team every day.
- Josh Parkhurst: P/INF, 160, 6'0, 2026, R/R.
- Josh has been part of our program for the past couple of years and has gained valuable experience, including significant playing time due to injuries. We love what he brings defensively, and if he can continue to gain consistency at the plate, he has the potential to be a major contributor for us. Josh will be a key piece of our pitching staff, with the ability to start games or come out of the bullpen in high-leverage situations, and he has the confidence and composure to get us out of tough spots.
- Eli Parkhurst: P/SS, 2027, 6'2, 190, L/R.
- Eli played in 36 games for us last season, contributing at multiple positions. This year, he will take on a significantly larger role both offensively and defensively. Eli will be an everyday player, hit at the top of our lineup, and start some of our biggest games. He is arguably our most complete player—he can run, hit, and throw as well as anyone in our program. In addition to his on-field impact, Eli is a great teammate and a strong leader for our team. Oklahoma commit.
Top Newcomers:
- Cam Brumbaugh: P/INF/OF, 2029, 5'11, 155, L/R.
- Cam is the No. 1 ranked player in his class according to PBR. As the final Brumbaugh to come through our program, he has big shoes to fill—and he does so in every way. Cam is a complete player who can run, throw, hit for both average and power. He will have the opportunity to play multiple positions in both the infield and outfield. His left-handed swing plays at any level, and he thrives on competition. Cam has great stuff on the mound as well, he will pitch big time innings for us as a freshman. We are excited to follow his development and watch his career unfold over the next four years.
- Alec Arredondo: P/IF/OF, 2029, 5'11, 150 R/R.
- Alec is another one of our talented freshmen who brings the “wow” factor. He has come in as a freshman unafraid of any moment and consistently rises to the occasion. Alec is an elite infield defender, a strong enough athlete to play the outfield when needed, and features three plus pitches on the mound. It’s hard to imagine a lineup where Alec isn’t involved in some way, as he continues to be a major contributor to our success. His development is another one we are excited to watch over the next four years.
Key Players Lost:
- Carson Brumbaugh (Arkansas)
- Hayden Towell (Eastern OK State JC)
- Carson Cooper (Central Missouri)
- Whaetly Chaloupek (Crowder JC)
- Aidan Allred (Dodge City CC)
- Brayden Tomlinson (Dodge City CC)
- Savion Sims (Oklahoma)
- Jorge Balcazar (Blinn JC)
Coach’s Insight: “Our team camaraderie and the overall parity within the group stand out as strengths for us. We have so many players in the program who are capable of contributing this year. Ultimately, it will come down to who can handle the moment—and who can’t. Our biggest concern as a team is overall varsity experience. We know we don’t have the pitching staff we had last year, which means we must be elite defensively. We have to make the routine play—every time.” – Kris Webb, head coach
Outlook: The defending 6A State Champions played their best baseball down the stretch a year ago with contributions from virtually the entire roster. They have had a bulk of the roster depart with graduation, but the Wolves will return valuable pieces along with an injection of talented youth that will have an opportunity to contribute right away. Offensively, they don't appear to be as deep with high-end talent as they were a year ago, but will be a dynamic team-based offense with the ability to execute consistently. Expect them to develop throughout the entire spring with their best baseball being played in May. On the mound, Santa Fe will need to attack the strike zone as they will play steady defense around the diamond. With inexperience, there is typcially questions about how players or a team will respond to adversity, but expect the Wolves to welcome any challenge due to the culture and belief throughout the program. It is difficult to repeat as state champion (the last 6A team to win back to back titles was Owasso in 2008 & 2009), but nothing would surprise us with the culture and development of inexperienced players at the varsity level we anticipate throughout the spring.
