The Colorado high school baseball season kicks off on March 5th, opening day for regular season action under CHSAA regulations. Leading up to opening day, we’ll be publishing our team previews ahead of the 2026 spring season, touching on programs spanning all state classifications, counting down through the official Prep Baseball Colorado Preseason Power 25 Rankings.

Perennially, we’ve submitted a preseason questionnaire to high school head coaches across the entire state. Their responses have been flooding in and we’re using the detailed insight they’ve provided in our team-by-team preseason analysis.

"For the last two seasons we have played with a relatively young team, with the majority of our starters being from the 2026 and 2027 classes. That group has led us to a 17-8 record in 2025, and 14-10 in 2024. Now, as seniors and juniors with a lot of experience both in the spring and playing together in the summer this group is ready to make their mark. We really like our pitching depth that is returning with a lot of experience, and we have an offense that has depth and can score in a lot of different ways, with seniors in the heart of the order that can all do damage."
