Updated Class of 2029 Rankings: Pre-Spring Update

As we get set for the spring season, we release our Pre-Spring Update to the Class of 2029 Player Rankings, an early snapshot of Alabama’s freshman class and the next wave of long-term upside in the state. At this stage, the board is built heavily on projection, athletic traits, and feel for the game, with plenty of movement expected as players mature and gain varsity exposure.

In building this update, we leaned into a combination of athleticism, foundational skills, defensive traits, and long-term ceiling. With a young class, roles and physical development will evolve quickly, so this list should be viewed as an early baseline — and one that will continue to change as the spring unfolds and players establish themselves in game action.
