BC Preseason Invitational: Positional Data Dive

Cam Black-Araujo
Assistant Director, Canada

On Monday, February 16th, the Prep Baseball British Columbia staff hosted the first annual Preseason Invitational, an Invite-Only event for premiere talent in the 2026-2029 classes, hosted at the LMBA Training Facility in Delta, British Columbia.

The sold-out event featured roughly 55 top prospects in the 2026 - 2029 classes as players were competing for roster spots on Canada/BC's National Team's at events such as the Future Games, Senior Future Games, West Coast Games, West Coast Super Sophomore Games and more.

All players ran through a full workout that included batting practice and bullpens captured on our TrackMan, 30-yard with splits captured by VALD Performance and positional metrics. Over the next several days we'll be highlighting top performers from the event within our post-event analysis. Stay locked into our social media channels over the next several days as we continue to push out video, leaderboards and more.

Earlier this week, we began our post-event coverage within our Statistical Analysis and Pitching Data Dive articles. Today, we will continue our post-event coverage within this Positional Data Dive article as we bring you the top Trackman Hitting and VALD Performance data collected during batting practice and 30-yard runs on Monday.
