Jordan Broatch to take on West Coast Event Operations role

Prep Baseball Canada is excited to announce the hiring of Jordan Broatch, returning to the Prep Baseball family in the role of West Coast Operations (British Columbia & Alberta).

Broatch will spearhead event operations between British Columbia & Alberta while assisting Jaxson Smith-Peterson in creating more opportunities for players in Western Canada to be seen by college coaches between in-person events and in the digital world. Beginning with the BC Preseason Invitational, players and parents can expect to see a new leader at West Coast events.

The Surrey, B.C., native has an extensive background within British Columbia’s baseball community and will be the head coach of the province’s Canada Cup team this upcoming summer.

Broatch spent the past five years with the White Rock Tritons in various capacities, including General Manager, Coach, and Pitching Instructor. He also is a cofounder and trainer with Stacked Strength and Conditioning, a training facility in Surrey, BC. 

“Broatch has been entrenched in BC’s baseball community for some time now and we’re thrilled to have him on our team,” says Josh Arce, Scouting Director of Prep Baseball Canada. “With an emphasis on meeting the needs of players between British Columbia and Alberta, I trust that Broatch will be able to elevate our product and provide customers with high-level showcases and visibility they’ve come to expect.”

Boasting a strong resume and deep roots in British Columbia, Broatch’s tenacity and eagerness to support youth baseball players will help him thrive in this role and we look forward to seeing the impact he will make over the coming years.

Scouting Director, Josh Arce, will continue to oversee the country while operating the East Coast with Cam Black-Araujo, and Jordan Broatch will take the lead on the West Coast.
