No. 16 St. Joseph-Ogden vs. Rockridge

By: Gavin Smith
Manager, Content & Operations/Area Scout

Cullen Schwigen, RHP, Rockridge, 2027
Uncommitted, ranked No. 20 in the state's junior class. Stands in a strong and athletic 6-foot-3, 212-pound frame. Former Prep Baseball Future Gamer for Team Illinois, and a two-sport standout as the QB1 for their football team. Started on the mound and worked three innings, allowing two hits and one earned run without issuing a walk while striking out five on 48 pitches with 34 strikes (71%). Clean mover on the mound that repeats well with minimal effort, quick arm with shorter action. Fastball sat 87-90 mph and missed bats, mixed in a curveball at 72-75 mph with 11/5 shape and a slider at 78-79 mph with sweeping, wipeout action, both showing swing-and-miss potential. One of the top uncommitted arms in the state.
