Each week throughout the high school season, we will announce the Prep Baseball Oregon Pitcher and Hitter of the Week, recognizing standout performances from across the state. With numerous players excelling both at the plate and on the mound, this award will be based on nominations submitted through our POTW Google Form.
Additionally, we will continue our Oregon Diamond Notes to highlight other deserving players nominated by coaches who were not selected as the Pitcher or Hitter of the Week.
This week's Hitter of the Week is '26 C Teagan Scott (South Salem).

Teagan Scott C / OF / South salem, OR / 2026One of the premier talents in the PNW and the second ranked prospect in Oregon's senior class, Scott is off to a hot start in his final HS campaign. The catcher went 4-7, slugging 2 home runs with Prep Baseball staff in attendance last week. The senior also walked twice and added 6 RBI and 4 runs scored in his massive week. Scott will have the eyes of pro scouts on him all spring and could be an early contributor at Oregon State next spring. |
