Each week throughout the high school season, we will announce the Prep Baseball Oregon Pitcher and Hitter of the Week, recognizing standout performances from across the state. With numerous players excelling both at the plate and on the mound, this award will be based on nominations submitted through our POTW Google Form.

Additionally, we will continue our Oregon Diamond Notes to highlight other deserving players nominated by coaches who were not selected as the Pitcher or Hitter of the Week.

This week's Pitcher of the Week is '26 RHP Jake Lewis (North Medford).

OREGON PITCHER OF THE WEEK (3/16-3/22)

Jake Lewis RHP / South Medford, OR / 2026 Rankings  StateRank: 113 / POS: 34 The senior righthander takes home POTW for the first week of Oregon HS action after a dominant outing. Lewis racked up the strikeouts in a big way, talling 16 over 6 innings of work. The righthander allowed just 2 hits and 2 walks in a shutout performance for a South Medford side off to a nice start so far.
