Risers

#1 Brophy College Prep

The Broncos have officially taken the throne after a flawless 7-0 start to the season. Their rise to the top was punctuated by a massive statement win over preseason #1 Casteel, where Ronan O’Brien anchored a dominant pitching performance. With a veteran lineup led by Dre Ethier, Jonah Castle, and Ryan Fesperman that refuses to beat itself, Brophy has proven they are the most complete team in the state right now.

#2 Williams Field

The Black Hawks are the breakout story of the early season, skyrocketing from unranked to the #2 spot. Sitting at 6-1, they have shown they can win in every way possible, from low scoring pitcher’s duels to offensive explosions. Their recent win over a tough San Luis squad proved their 6A contender status is no fluke, led by newcomer JJ Utash and veteren Asher Landry.

#7 Sahuarita

Dominating the 4A landscape, Sahuarita enters the Top 10 with a perfect 7-0 record. They aren't just winning; they are overwhelming opponents with a +40 run differential through their first two weeks. Led by Arizona State commit EJ Mayer, the Mustangs have the frontline pitching and depth to compete with any 6A giant on this list.

Fallers

#15 Hamilton

It is rare to see the Huskies outside of the Top 10, but a 3-3 start against a grueling schedule has necessitated a slide. While the senior leadership of Ben Ball and Kris DeSantiago remains elite, early stumbles against top-tier 6A competition show a group still finding its rhythm. Expect a climb back once region play begins, but for now, the record dictates the drop.

#24 Mountain Ridge

The Mountain Lions have faced arguably the toughest opening gauntlet in the state, drawing matchups against Corona del Sol, Queen Creek, and Brophy Prep in the first ten days. While their 2-5 record is deceptive given the level of competition, the "L" column is heavy. Players like Carter Neville, Tank Castillo, and Andrew Hohmann continue to keep them competitive, but they need a string of wins to stabilize their ranking.

#25 Perry

The Pumas are clinging to the final spot in the Power 25 after a 1-4-1 start. Despite boasting high-end talent, the Pumas have struggled to close out high scoring heartbreakers. The talent floor is far too high to unrank them entirely, but they are officially on the bubble heading into Week 2.

Newcomers

#14 Pinnacle

Pinnacle crashes into the rankings as the highest-rated newcomer following a focused 5-1 start. Their strength of schedule is among the highest in 6A, and they have handled it with poise. Junior Erik Moo has been the offensive catalyst, providing the spark this veteran group needed to establish themselves as a legitimate top-tier threat.

#22 Boulder Creek

Riding a 6-1 start, the Jaguars have forced their way into the conversation. While they haven't yet reached the "meat" of the Desert Valley region schedule, their efficiency on the mound and ability to put constant pressure on opposing defenses has been undeniable. They enter the Power 25 as a team with significant momentum.

#23 Ironwood Ridge

Representing the Tucson area, the Nighthawks have looked like a well oiled machine early on. Sitting at 5-1, they feature a balanced attack led by senior Michael Chop, who is currently impacting games as a true two-way force. Their inclusion reflects the depth of the 4A landscape and their ability to compete with anyone in the state.
