February 20, 2026
As we look back on the 2025 summer tournament circuit here in Kansas City, we’ll be breaking down the top players by tool from each class based on evaluations from our scouting team at Homefield and Creekside. Follow along as we take a deep dive into these players and highlight the summers they put together. Each week will feature our top five players based on each tool from the class, presented in no particular order.

Quincey Koehn is everything you could want physically in a pitcher at 6-foot-5, 235 pounds. The Kansas commit is someone we’ve followed closely for a while, and he has developed into one of the top-ranked arms in the region. Koehn features a four-pitch mix that includes an 86–91 MPH fastball, a hard 76–80 MPH slider, a 74–76 MPH changeup, and a devastating curveball.
It’s the curveball that earned him a spot on our top off-speed list, as it’s the biggest spinner we’ve seen. At the 2025 Future Games, he showed a curveball that sat around 76 MPH and spun at 3,200 RPMs. The ability to spin a breaking ball at 3,000+ RPMs is uncommon, and we see it developing into an absolute hammer over the next couple of years as he continues to refine his craft.
