Top Fastball Class of 2027

Axton Brewer was one of the most impressive starters we saw all year. The Auburn commit was about as lights out as it gets in Prep Kansas City tournament play. His fastball has been up to 92 mph with late carry, and he consistently generates swing-and-miss with it, which sets up his off-speed arsenal—highlighted by a solid changeup.

While we didn’t see him extensively this past year, he made the most of every outing. In the post below, Brewer was virtually unhittable for the Midwest Bruins, throwing a four-inning perfect game and striking out seven.
