The Arkansas recruit struck out 9 over 4.2 IP for the Hawks on Saturday, allowing just 2 hits and 1 run. Rose does a nice job of changing speeds and keeping hitters off balance, showing feel for both secondary pitches to complement the fastball. Talented LHP from Texarkana.

Solid outing from Scott against a tough lineup. Struck out 6 over 4 IP, allowing just 2 hits and 2 runs. The arm talent is real, coming from a physical frame that will continue to add strength. Also shows the ability to impact the baseball and do damage at the plate. Exciting player to follow for the coming years.

Clean, athletic arm with good hand speed. Slight crossfire adds deception vs RHH. FB shows late life with ride up and tilt down. Breaking ball can be a two-plane pitch when extended. FB sat 88–89 with more in the tank.

Athletic with a strong frame for future development. Shows body control and defensive actions, making plays on the move. Solid hit approach with line-drive contact and surprising impact for the class. One to follow in 2029.
Byron Nelson vs Southlake Carroll 3/11/26

LHH middle infielder who maximizes his ability. Steady defender who makes plays. Shows plate discipline and barrel feel, producing consistent contact. Added strength is starting to show with more impact. Hit-over-power profile with great makeup.

The Future Games MVP continues a strong start to his season. Launched a grand slam, the only hit of the game, which proved to be the difference.
Closed it out on the mound at 92–94, mixing a CB at 82 and SL at 87–89. Winner.

Projectable frame with room to add strength. Showed range in the OF, tracking balls well in the gap. Solid approach at the plate, competed in ABs. Followed up with 2–4 and two XBH in the next game. Player to watch.

At the plate, shows a solid approach with hard contact, with power still developing.
On the mound, a strike thrower who repeats the delivery with arm speed present. FB touched 92, working 87–88 with life. Shows feel for secondary.

Rouse vs Glenn 3/10/26

Sainz was perfect in Rouse’s 5-inning run-rule victory over Glenn. He did not allow a runner to reach base while striking out 5. Extremely efficient, needing just 42 pitches to finish the outing.
The FB sat 80–82 with a CB in the low 70s. Gets ahead and pitches to weak contact.

Soliz has always been a quality defender up the middle, and now the bat is really coming around to elevate his overall game. Looks more fluid in the box this season, improving his timing and barrel control. One of the leaders on this experienced Rouse squad.
